UT is a powerhouse in numerous sports.

Women's volleyball
Yes as a sport, no as branding via network

Swimming and diving
That has limited programming appeal

Golf
I think this will grow via SECN or PACN, but not big now
Again, single school network is not the same branding as multi school network

Oregon, Arkansas, LSU, and TAMU when I think of T&F

competitive in men's and women's basketball and softball
DISCLAIMER : Not saying texas baseball was not good in the past (so was USC) but since conference realignment and the rise of the conference networks, texas has been absent. Up to the LHN texas was in every year or every other year including 2009 and 2011. Since realignment only a lone appearance in 2014. TAMU was in the CWS in 2017. As for softball, TAMU > texas.
Competitive is not CWS, WCWS, M Final Four, or W Final Four. Not saying texas is terrible, just not elite, or near elite. You are still missing the point in terms of branding and distribution. If I want to watch texas softball I have to have the LHN which is limited to TX. If I want to watch TAMU softball, I can watch it anywhere in the USA on SECN.
If the SECN or BTN can bee seen across the USA 24 / 7 / 365 it means they get exposure when playing other teams. So say, Michigan softball plays TAMU softball it is likely ESPN picks it up, but if they do not, it will be on the BTN or SECN so viewers in both conferences can watch. Most of the folks watching Notre Dame football and Duke basketball are not fans of either school but tuning in hoping to watch them lose.
Any time a school is on a network with more than their home footprint they are getting free exposure for their school. That is the real beauty of multi school conference programming. SEC softball is growing not from local talent but from SECN being broadcast in the PTN footprint for free (usually on basic plans) and now the SEC is filling their softball rosters with west coast talent.

They do not play defense in the Big 12 so he will never understand this.
Sooners came in to the MNC having one of the all time scoring highs in NCAA history (Sonner fans can correct, but I believe it was between 50 and 58 points per game).
Played the Gators for the natty and scored all of 14 points

That OU team was also missing some scrub named Demarco Murray for that game only. OU was inside the FL 10 yard line several times but couldn't score with the running game. That game goes a lot differently with Demarco.

You are a Sooner, have some balls and own the loss. When you say stuff like that you sound like texas whining about Colt.

It's not 2008 bro...they also later put +40 on bama and +30 on Auburn who had pretty good SEC defenses.

You think A&M is a better academic university than UT. Enough said.
Posted on 9/12/17 at 3:52 pm to Cheese Grits
We are talking about OUs offensive deficiencies in a game where they were missing a top NFL Running back. Injuries happen of course but that is a major reason that offense couldn't punch the ball in the end zone for that game only. I think there was 3 trips inside the 5 for OU without TDs. That offense was all about stretching the field and relied heavily on demarco in the red zone.

Attempt to find another university besides UT that is Top 20 in wins in Football, Men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.

Plus UT was one of the top defenses in the country for most of the 2000's in team rankings and producing NFL talent.

I also wouldn't say slightly better but the 21 points is a little misleading.
Both teams made a lot of mistakes during that game though.

How do you figure Auburn will go .500 just because we lost to Clemson by 8 points on the road? The only team we play that is better then rest of the season is bama, and we play them at home
Our offense definitely has problems, but NFL draft people claim Clemson has at least two or maybe three first round draft picks on their defensive line. Not even bama has that

Pretty sure it was the BIG XII that finished Number 1 in defensive performance during last bowl season.
Also pretty sure the defense in the SEC is Bama and LSU. SEC defenses aren't supposed to give up 34 point halftime leads as folklore would have us believe. Interestingly, I've never seen a BIG XII defense give up a 34 point halftime lead. Hmmmmm....

So does Ohio State.
And what would we know about Auburn's defense?

Do they though, they gave up 439 yards to Indiana. Virginia the next week did much better than that.

If you use win percentage I believe in college football especially then Boise St would be considered a Top Tier program.
Overall wins has always been the best way to measure the commitment of a university to the program.
Miami for example in college football just because from the late1970's they put resources in their program doesn't make them considered a top program because for 60 years they didn't care for football or UNLV in basketball.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!
You're talking about Ohio State!! Indiana threw the ball 68 times. Lagow didn't even play much against Virginia.

Great, the problem is you didn't just list football.
