I find it unlikely Gus gets fired. Hes had two SEC championship appearances (won one) a Natty appearance and has beaten Alabama multiple time since hes been there. The hefty buyout along with this will give him another year

Chiz's buyout was not as big and he did not have another season as good as his one flash of awesome with Newton. The Gus Bus will be back next year

Well screwed up the subject oh well

What a disfunctional fan base. They’re their own worst enemy.

No serious fan expects him to be fired this year.

If he loses today then he will be fired at season end. Thank you to all the non-Auburn fans who are concerned about the buyout, but this is Anerican and we can find the money.

So you can bash Auburn football, you can bash Auburn fans all you want, but when you bash the principles of America that my friends I cannot stand for.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

So we should base our coaches success on beating Bama?

Well you guys gave him $49 million just for beating Bama. Let’s be honest, if he didn’t beat Bama last year there was also a good chance Auburn would let him go to be Arkansas coach.

Ummm, these days, that's a fair metric.

How many coaches have beaten Bama multiple times under Nick Saban?

Two. One is now a minor league football coach in the Southwest and the other is on the brink of losing his job.

Let that be a lesson to us all.
