How Oklahoma and Oregon make the playoff...

I don't understand why these fanbases are so stressed thinking they have no chance to make the playoff now. All Oklahoma and Oregon have to do is go 8 - 1 in SEC/Big 10 conference play to make the playoff. Unlike the old days that early loss isn't a death sentence. The committee won't punish an SEC or Big 10 team for getting a 3rd loss in their championship game.

Oregon's path to 8-1 is much more feasible than Oklahoma's.

Oklahoma just has to win @ Georgia and then beat TX and they will be in good shape to go for 6-1 in SEC play the rest of the way.

Look at Oregon’s schedule. Nothing there. Basically split Ohio St. and USC and they’ll finish 10-2 and make the playoff.

Yep Michigan and WA at home are definitely winnable games.

I think we all know that’s not happening. If anything, it would take a miracle to beat one of them. I think CFP is out of picture for us this season. Gonna be a long season for the Sooners.

They will just have to treat @GA and TX like they are playoff games.

Split those and win out, you are in

You don't think Mateer can get on track?

They are stressed because their teams didn’t look good
Especially Oregon. They were lucky the game wasn’t a blowout loss. Oregon hasn’t looked like a top 25 team all year

He’ll have his good days. He’s just inconsistent.

OU needs to be banned from the CFP, regardless of what their record is. Same with Michigan. Being subjected to watching the abortion that is Mateer or Underwood in a CFP game should be a federal crime.

At this rate, OU’s path to the playoff is our fans watching other teams in the playoff.
