I think because they barely beat the worst OU team of the last quarter century last season. I’m not sure why we occupy so much of their brain space. I could give a shite about mizzoo. They were always just another W on our schedule, like Kansas and okie lite

John Mateer makes an average Oklahoma a legit fringe Playoff contender.
Makes a big a difference who you give the car keys to!

Some Keyboard experts make SEC QB Rankings had a significant gap for Lagway @ #3 vs Mateer

Beau Pribula has been pretty impressive too.

Oklahoma beat Michigan

That’s better than anything Texas did

Let’s wait and see how the Auburn game plays out. I think the SEC season will really start to take shape after tomorrow’s game

I don't think beating Michigan is that big of a victory for Oklahoma. I do think Michigan will starts losing more games later on.

If Auburn wins tomorrow. After how bad Arnold did last year. OU’s melt will be epic.

Yeah, cheated so bad, his head almost exploded from HGH. Great role model to mold your program after.

OU trophy case, bought & paid for by dirty money… I mean, come on, how else could you get anyone to live in that miserable place called Norman Oklahoma….. you gotta pay handsomely & OU did for decades. Congrats!

Three. They might actually be the most deserving 9-3 team to get in depending on the loses. Their schedule is legit.

Oklahoma was hunting championship pelts and hanging them on walls long before Barry bonds, and he was amazing before he juiced as well. (And I think hes an a-hole)

Y'all listen to your jocksniffers too much, especially the black dude on Locked On.

That's Jay... He seems kind of soft for a Blake dude with braids...

That other guy though... The dude with those strange Siberian Husky looking eyes... Kind of creepy.

Our locked on guy seems to have a balanced take. Hard to listen to for long periods of time, though.

That’s absolutely not true! They won a co-conference championship only 56 years ago

still waiting on someone to explain to me why Missouri is beating their chest? When OU wins this week they will own two wins vs top 25 teams.

Little brother syndome. When they left the Big 12 they thought that move would erase a century of getting their arse kicked.

Anyone with common sense knew that any conference would welcome blue bloods yet it shocked Missouri to learn they would again be OU and Texas's little brother.

If Mateer goes full on Lagway tomorrow then Sooner fans will indeed have an epic melt and if that were to happen to any team I think it would be true of their fan base.
