Congress Discreetly Moves To Merge US Military Even Closer To Israel’s
Posted by RBTiger on 6/3/26 at 3:40 pm
Congress full of little weasels & criminals :banghead:
Can Trump over ride this?? They gonna sneak this in??

Congress quietly moved to further deepen military ties between the United States and Israel by advancing a provision buried in the House’s 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
The NDAA released late May includes a measure embedded in section 224 called the “United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative,” which would strengthen military cooperation between both counties in the form of research, development, and even defense industrial base co-production. The provision also proposes “network integration” and “data fusion,” further intertwining the U.S. military with Israel. (RELATED: Trump Tries To Restrain Israel, Hezbollah After Bibi Orders Strikes On Beirut)
“Remember last year when they tried to sneak that definition of antisemitism into federal law that would have banned portions of the New Testament?” Auron MacIntyre, host of the Auron MacIntyre Show, said in a post on X. “This is somehow just as absurd. Why does the GOP congress try to do this every summer?” (RELATED: Italy Suspends Defense Agreement With Israel After IDF Fired Warning Shots At Country’s Peacekeeping Convoy)
This push to further integrate the two militaries comes at a time where popular perception of Israel in America hits record lows.
Public opinion of Israel has plummeted in recent years, particularly among young Americans. A recent Pew Research poll found that a majority of adults, 60%, have an unfavorable view of Israel, up from 53% in 2025. Another 59% of adults have “little to no confidence” that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will “do the right thing” regarding foreign policy, which is another increase from 52% in 2025.
This trend has reached adults in both political parties, with a majority of adults under the age of 50 having a negative view of Israel and Netanyahu, according to the poll.

Section 224 of 2027 National Defense Authorization Act

This is stirring up some big controversy...is Congress getting this passed?
LINK
Section 224 of the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) outlines the "United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative." It directs the Secretary of Defense to appoint a single official to coordinate military and defense-industrial cooperation between the two nations. The initiative focuses heavily on intertwining the U.S. and Israeli defense supply chains and accelerating the integration of joint technologies into U.S. military programs of record. Key details of the proposed provision include:
Political Response and Debate:The provision has sparked both strong support and vocal bipartisan concern:
Supporters: Backers argue that the measure strengthens American security and streamlines the adoption of advanced Israeli technology and innovations into the U.S. military.
Opponents: Critics and advocacy groups have raised concerns over U.S. sovereignty, the integration of data systems, and the entangling of U.S. and Israeli defense acquisition. Some lawmakers have pledged to introduce amendments to strip this language from the larger NDAA bill

If tweet fails to load, click here. This is what BR needed because it's never getting a Loop.
A "Southern By-pass" was Proposed ....however it would have cut across the Bluff Swamp/ Spanish Lake preserve. So they Cancelled it.
My proposal would have gone a lil further South ; parallel Hwy 30 near Tanger Mall in Gonzales
It could have tied into Hwy 415 Extension in WBR with New Intracoastal Bridge....the New Mississippi River Bridge would have gone into BRUSLY ....
But the NIMBY's shut it down

Exactly! Millerville is in "No Mans Land".
....A small community could arise from it. Infrastructure is in place in
old Miller Village @ Old Hammond Hwy for a City Hall .
The large Retail District @ I-12 (Target ; Lowes; Office Depot ; Chick Fil-A + a couple Car dealerships could add to the Tax base .
Always wondered why BR Proper never did incorporate Millerville ; instead annexed around it ....north of Florida Blvd ; south of I-12
