How many times is a thread like this needed?
You feed a troll and it will continue to eat. This thread will go at least 10 pages, so it's still needed. You'll see fewer when the pages are around 2. I don't really know why this upsets bama fans so much.

Why didn't you become an auburn fan, I'm actually curious because it seems like this happens to a lot of fans here on the rant.

So...sorta?
I hold a degree from UAB's school of business, and I'm pretty happy with that. Who cares what the OP thinks anyway?
Many of us are fans because relatives attended (my parents both met at and graduated from UA), or some friends went there, or just because we enjoy football and were raised in the state of Alabama. Every fan base has fans like that but since Alabama is the gold standard we have to deal with idiots like the OP.

Because it is fiction and if they want to keep bringing it up Ill keep responding to it. I really dont mind. Thats why I am waiting for him to let me know what percentage of Ole Miss fans graduated from there.

Given the size of Alabama's contingent on this board, we probably have more alumni here than any school not named LSU.

Lets put it this way, my father wouldn't write a check to Auburn for tuition, he would write the check to me and make me pay it. I was brainwashed from birth.

Every damn school has TONS of fans that didn't go to school there.
I know way more Aub fans that DIDN't got to Auburn than did.
Same with LSU. The offices I work with in BTR are loaded with LSU fans. I know of three that went there. Most went to Southeastern for whatever reason. A few went to ULM but they are LSU to the bone.
Auburn- Our North Alabama office has about 100 employees and almost 1/3 are Auburn fans. Around 30 of those went to Jax State or UNA specifically but are Aubs through and through.
Oh, and Ole Sis. Have an office in Jackson. 67 folks work in there. Pretty much all Rebels. ONE, ONE graduated from Ole miss and he has turned in his notice. Have a couple from State Tons from Miss College and Delta State but they have Ole Miss stuff in their cubes.
So....stuff this crap in your hole. It's no different anywhere else than Bama is. I know this Bama is a national brand. Ole miss is a regional (NE MS) to be specific so the numbers of non-alums are gonna be higher.
Also, stop with the our school is harder to get in. Unless you go to Vandy, save a point or two on the ACT, it's all the same. Bama is no better than anyone but no worse. Yes, I was accepted to Ole Miss before Bama accepted me. I could have went either way but went Bama but I EASILY got into Ole Miss. I was also accepted to Florida, FSU, UT, Auburn and Georgia. It was no harder to get accepted to those than to Bama. Well, Florida was a little tougher.
With that being said I was rejected by Notre Dame, UVA, and the university of Michigan. Oh, and Texas Tech said no when I applied to grad school. I didn't apply to Vandy but I could have gotten into any other SEC school. Namely Ole miss with ease.

Yea, I think Ole Miss is a fun place and it has some really good programs, but it is undoubtedly the easiest admit in the conference. I don't really think that matters much at all, but if we are discussing it then we should at least talk in facts.

Technically three times including two Masters degrees.
Legacy history including those who at some point attended Alabama undergrad, Law, or grad-school: Great-Grandfather, Grandfather, Grandmother, Mother, Father, Step-father, two brothers, one sister, one son, ex-wife, hundreds of cousins, 140 ex-girl friends.
My girlfriend/SO? LSU graduate.
My pet yellow Labrador Retriever? Born in Auburn, Al.

Come on man, you know with the mountain of RA'd for alters you've gotten already that this account's clock is ticking.
