I think they are a Top Four team.

Then again I think Missouri's the 2nd best team in the East.

Unfortunately our losses to USCe and UK undermine what my eyes know to be true.

I believe they are but they will not get in. Plus to do it they would have to drop UA to 2 so the rematch would happen in the NC.

Not with two losses one being a blowout loss.

Absolutely not. They are a good football team...and you could make a case that they just might be top 4...but i'm sorry...you got curb stomped by LSU and you did not win your conference. Oklahoma and Ohio State absolutely have better resumes.

I don't understand why it is that when it comes to replay reversals, you need to meet an extraordinarily high indisputable, verifiable, notarized burden of proof...yet what ALL of that is about (determining wins and thus, championships), evidence (wins, losses, conference championships) in doing so don't matter and we'll let somebody in on a "look test".

Why do you keep saying " better UGA team" when that isn't true? Dude Alabama is going to be the best if not the top 3 offenses OU has faced all year and by far the best defense, Alabama is a complete team, OU isn't going to score every drive, Bama's offense isn't a dinosaur, it's one of the top offenses in the nation paired with one of the top defenses, OU is by far the underdog here.

Over the course of the entire season? No

The last half of the season after the LSU debacle? Definitely.

Bama
Clemson/Georgia

Those are the top 3, and Georgia/Clemson are close enough that neither stands out over the other.

Not sure why you wanted 6, but Bama beat y’all tonight with the backup QB. That’s enough to let me know y’all don’t belong in the playoff

Bama doesn’t have a “backup QB”, they have two starters.

SEC championship is the closest game Bama will have for the rest of the year

a top 4 team

No way. The 4th quarter of Saturday night's game is enough to show me that Georgia is not among the "elite fleet" this year. Maybe top 10 but certainly not Top 4.

Georgia kind of collapsed after that FG miss, and Bama with Hurts and Saban showed the Heart Of A Champion.

When you look at the LSU blow out and the horrible coaching decisions in the two losses, nope. The entire board said tOSU wasn’t top 4 (they weren’t) last year because of their blow out and second lose, so let’s be consistent

2 loses means that they were not a top 4 team.

Especially losing to a 3 lost LSU team by 20.

UGA would take Notre Dame to the woodshed

If you are asking me if they are one of the best four teams in the country, I think so.

I think OU and ND would both have lost if they played LSU at LSU.

I get why they got left out. But it is a raw deal for them. Especially with the way they lost the SECCG.

I honestly believe right now we are one of the best 4 teams in the country. I think playing head to head against Oklahoma, OSU, ND we would beat all three.

That said, we should not be in the playoffs, because of the two losses. It's odd that I feel this way, because I have always said the best 4 teams should be in the playoffs. I guess it is a matter of my not being sure we are one of the best 4. if we beat Texas easily, and Alabama beats the two teams they face in the playoffs easily, then we will probably end up in the top 4, and that will settle this question.

Georgia ended the season as likely the third best team in the country. However, they weren't the third best coached team over the course of the season. 4th and 11 as well as the mental errors in Baton Rouge were obvious blunders. I love Kirby and what he is doing, but we have got to fix these issues.

As long as Saban has a well oiled machine at Alabama, we cannot afford to sleepwalk through any game during the regular season. Just like Auburn last year, LSU was motivated after losing a game that they shouldn't have, and we were not mentally prepared. That cannot happen. We have to get to the SEC championship unscathed.

In a lot ways, I think the SECCG was likely the championship game. I hope the games are good, but I think they will be lopsided.

Same here. I was actually surprised by the SECCG. I really expected Alabama to beat us by at least 14 with the possibility of it becoming a blowout. I guess I will have to start believing in the team more from here on out.
