Very good player and a likeable personality. You’ll enjoy him.

Cal planned on him leaving for the NBA and loaded up at guard. Wagner is back (and the team was arguably better with him vs. Fland playing PG) and they signed Acuff (top PG outa HS) along with a couple solid 4 stars.

It was never even considered that there was a spot for Boogie to return, by him or Cal.

Basketball in the SEC is going to get more and more like baseball.

It was basically there this year. Every night is going to feel like the playoffs with (almost) every team being tourney caliber.

Leaving Arky to play for the national champs

The honest answer. Nobody knows.

Went balls to the wall then got hurt.

Came back for 3 games in the tournament. Played 18 min a game and shot 22%/10%/74%

Could have been rust, could be a result of his thumb injury.

Was projected as a lottery pick coming in and post injury draft combine he fell to the second round.

You may have the old Boogie or you may have the one who’s in a post injury struggle.

Cal has the best PG in the 2025 class coming in and we didn’t have a spot.

I really respect the Arky fans responses on this, most other fan bases would be saying, he wasn't work a damn, we didn't need him anyway, Thanks for the honest opinion of this player.

I think the situation with Boogie truly is unique so there isn’t sour grapes. He didn’t enter the portal after the season and go to Florida.

He left to go to the draft with the intention of being drafted. He realized that wasn’t going to work out and needed to return to college. Arkansas doesn’t have room for him as it was assumed he would go pro. The guard room is extremely crowded.

I expect he takes a step forward next year. I just don't think his body was ready for SEC-level play, and that reflected in his issues finishing layups and shots around the rim in general. Rivals had him at 155lbs coming out of high school and I bet that's a lot closer to his playing weight last year than the 180 I've seen listed elsewhere.

Another year and some strength will do him well.

If he finds his shot he’ll be really good.

Boogie most likely didn't have the option to come back to Arkansas. Cal fully expected him to be gone to NBA after one year, and had already recruited and signed his replacement.
Darius Acuff is a more than adequate replacement.

When you can't even spell your prejudice words correctly, you know your family just knocked it out of the (Florida panhandle trailer) park.

Cal wasn't expecting Fland to get injured and never really produce. Because of that, his draft stock (for this year anyway) plummeted.
That left Boogie as an odd man out at Arkansas. Cal had already recruited and signed Flands replacement.
Portal was Fland's best monetary option.
Maybe he'll have a healthy year and get his draft stock back up.
