How far is this garbage going?

I’m no fan of the Florida Gators but they have to dig deep and come up with a reason to stop the cheer? Not one Gator fan alive ever saw the chomp cheer as racist.
Furthermore, Florida State went thru this years ago but the Seminole Tribe said it was an honor to have their tribe named for a Ncaa program.
So here we are, we have people saying “You are racist but you don’t know it.”
If you dig deep enough as I found out there is an actual photo of a confederate soldier on his porch sitting next to a bulldog, I guess we really are next.

What would be done: school presidents get up in arms and give some statement about inclusiveness and diversity or whatever other bullshite language they come up with.
What should be done: scholarships pulled the moment they leave the field. There will always be kids out there who would be grateful for a free education. Let the ones who show they aren't grateful for it try paying their own way and they'll change their tune.

I'm curious to know how these schools plan on paying their travel expenses when there is no money coming into the athletic coffers with zero/minimal butts in the seats.

To answer your question, while admittedly not knowing all of the context, but yes it does appear that the above example is a joke. But sweet melt though.

I heard both families were upset a bout the ordeal. The problem I think is that both sold the rights to their images. Same with Colonel Sanders and KFC.
