Lose your offensive guru, see LSU this past year.

I never understand this take because 2020 LSU's issues weren't on the offensive side of the ball.

2020 LSU had issues on every side of the ball. They were a disaster. Just be glad we didn't have any non-conference games last year, or yall would've been really embarrassed

I'm mostly talking about how a program implodes while under the leadership of a great coach,

I have a friend who sits on a few executive boards at FSU and was in on the stuff while Jimbo was there. He(JF) was the main catalyst for the implosion, coupled with an inept AD unwilling to spend money

Well considering he was hired when I was 5 years old, yeah

The exact reason why I’ll never understand why many of y’all take seriously a single word of what’s said on this board—much less deign to argue with these pups.

It reminds me of Urban Meyer's implosion at Florida.

There are literally no similarities between Meyer's departure from Florida and Fisher's departure from FSU. Fisher was lured away from FSU by a $75M contract. Meyer left Florida in disgrace...no one offered him shite at the time.

OP became a bama fan after the Nick Saban hire

Ignoring the fact that OP is pretty young and there is now an entire generation of Bama fans who don't know life before Saban, I'd still say that having your program destroyed by the NCAA isn't the same as imploding all on your own without outside interference.

Whatever. Even you have enough brain cells to grasp the point. Who offered Urban a dime to leave Florida?

Actually, Fisher was lured away by the fact that A&M would give him anything he wanted to pursue his goals, including a good contract. Fisher was tired of fighting with the FSU admin about aging facilities

Life is going to hit these folks hard one day. A fricking generation full of Harvey Updikes in the making.

He saw the writing on the wall, FSU was going down the tubes fast.

Aggies' offer was a godsend.

Meanwhile, Urban leaves Fleurda as the laughing stock of college football with his faux-heart issues.

That's cool and all but Joe Brady leaving wasn't the cause of LSU being bad.

It may have been a contributing factor but 2020 LSU isn't a ton better with Joe Brady.

You are right. Alabama will never struggle in football again. That is the more rational prediction.
