By that logic, Tennessee has faced 6 ranked opponents. OM is far from a top 10 opponent just like Kentucky and Pitt weren’t top 20 opponents. Tennessee by far had the tougher draw out of the West compared to LSU’s out of the East. Both teams have almost identical SOS’s

Here is where you loss me. Kiffin wouldn’t lose to Vanderbilt even if he was down to his 3rd string QB.

This is fantasy land.

LSU will have 3 losses.

Tenner will have 1.

UGA will have none.

If we win the SEC and get left out I’m fine with it. Don’t lose to FSU and Tennessee. It’ll leave a bad taste in our mouths and put the team on a mission next year.

If you beat Georgia you're in... period.
Tenn may have a shot if you lose. If you win, no way they put 3 SEC teams in.

One of Ohio State and Michigan is in. Then one of TCU/USC/Clemson unless they all just absolutely implode the rest of the way.

Just like you fantasized about Bama crushing LSU? Side note. You really need to clear up those blackheads on your face. If someone was to squeeze your neck, your face would look like one giant pimple!

Someone is always gonna be left out. They have a 64 team tourney, for basketball, and we always end up bitching about good teams, who deserve to be in, that don't get an invite...
No good team is left out of the NCAAT. Only a handful of mediocre ones all on the bubble who don't deserve to compete for a title anyway.

I like an eight-team playoff. Tennessee is better than USC, Oregon, Michigan, and TCU. None of those teams deserve to get in over Tennessee, but it LSU wins in Atlanta, they are champions of the strongest conference in America. One could argue that Ole Miss and Alabama should be in the mix as well for having only two losses. I truly believe that the four best teams in the country are in the SEC. The current four-team playoff allows the wrong teams to play for championships.

If we beat UGA it would be a monumental upset, but even if we do there's no way they let three SEC team in.

I think the committee with do everything in their power to keep two SEC teams out of the playoffs.

Which one? LSU vs Arkansas or UGA vs Missouri?

Pretty sure they were both bad.

The only other team with a good chance of getting in in that scenario is USC if they win out.

Yet, the fact remains that a P5 champ has never been left out to a P5 Non-conf champ when the former had an equal or better L record.

Tcu, USC, Clemson, and lowly UNC all would be locks over UTk if they win their conferences with 1 loss or better.

There is certainly a chance, but it's not a certainty by any chance

LOL...UGA would against WHO 9 of 10?

Yea, ok! Since 2008, LSU is 4-2 with UGA.

Any school that barely beat Kent State can definitely be beat by another top 10 opponent. Its not impossible.

I think its been so long since UGA was championship good that yall fans are insufferable. Its funny listening to your fans talk as if UGA has been at the top of the mountain forever. You're still the new kid on the block. Kirby has done great, let's see if he can sustain it.

I just don’t see Tennessee getting in as bad as would for them to. I think if usc gets in if they win out or TCU if they win out. We all still have 2 games left anything could happen especially with this cold weather sneaking in. If a team doesn’t show up and play and losses what they should have easily won.

It’s called winning your conference.

It’s not that hard to understand, really.

1 loss and a P5 Conf title is better than 1 loss without one…. And no matter how you slice it..

UT will have played 9 P5 teams, while USC will have played 11, Clemson played 11, TCU , 11. UNC would be 10.

So more wins, same losses, more p5 games, p5 championship.

It’s really not that hard to understand

LSU, I was pretty clear about that.

Are you under the impression that any of that matters with this year's teams? Is the 2008 team going to somehow impact this years game? All that doesn't mean shite this year.

It is called not winning your division or conference.
If Tennessee wins out , they are a top four team but barring a collapse by UGA, they will be behind them.
Then the winner of Ohio State/Michigan will be ahead of them.
An undefeated TCU will be ahead of them.
Then a one loss USC or Clemson/UNC or a two loss LSU will be ahead of them.

Pretty much sucks for Tennessee but unless chaos comes (and that is very possible this year), they will be out of the playoff.
