I am not a die hard where I have scouted FSU, so how do they compare?

Both seem to be pass oriented (which obviously is our weak point) I know about Jameis but are FSU's receivers that much better than Mizzou? Jameis a ton better than Franklin? (and no I don't think being up for the Heisman is an indicator of how much better someone is)

On the Madden scale of 0-100 how would you rate FSU and Mizzou in each of:

Pass offense
Run offense

Pass defense
Run defense

Special teams

FSU has an NFL player at every position.

I'm biased, but I don't believe their receivers are better than ours. Quite the contrary, especially when you look at the entire group.

I don't know enough about FSU to make any educated comments on the rest of your question. Not that that would stop many people on the rant.

Their big guy is as good as LWash or DGB, but I think there's more of a gap between him and the next receivers than at Mizzou.

Both beat UF with about the same stats. That counts for something.

They haven't been tested once all year, ask Oklahoma, OSU, etc. what happens when you go all season untested and play an SEC team in the championship.

You guys are good, they haven't faced a running game with a pulse, and now they've got to stop the best running game in the country.

Was UF playing as a defeated team? Or were they playing with a chip on their shoulder.

Overall they probably are. Auburn will need to get yards on first down in order to allow their hurry up to work. If they can do this, they can win. If Auburn struggles to get 5+ yards on first, they will lose. Auburn will have no answer for FSU, but I am not sure FSU will have an answer for Auburn

BC's running game is ok. And FSU struggled there.

I think FSU has more athletes to match up on defense than Mizzou did, especially at DT and in the back 7.

FSU has as good of a running game as Mizzou at first blush. Winston is an upgrade over Franklin. The receivers might be a notch below Mizzou, but it doesn't take much to get open against Auburn's secondary.

BC's "OK" running game as in Andre Williams, Heisman finalist with 2100 yards and 17 TDs, averaging 175 ypg this season? He had 149 of BC's 200 yards total rushing that game...not sure I'd call that "stuggling" with the running game. FSU struggled early in that game but we won by 2 TDs.

FSU's top 3 receivers are nationally ranked 59th, 63d, and 66th. Missouri's are 80, 86th, and ? on CFB Stats and I get the "against SEC defenses argument" but I'm not sure I'd put them below Mizzou's.

FSU's D is a little bit better but the edge goes to Mizzou in the running games...also based on CFB's stats. ANd yes, I get the SOS arguments. Not taking anything away from Mizzou at all, great team. I'm a FSU homer and Bama fan so of course I think that FSU handles AU.

UF hates FSU and wanted to squash FSU's NC chances. UF does not hate Mizzou and played them in Oct.
FSU vs UF was at The Swamp, Mizzou v. UF was at Mizzou.
FSU won 45-7; Mizzou won 36-17.

Take it for what its worth.
