We definitely pissed someone off at US News. UA seems to be doing very well though, it’s flush with out of state student money and most if not all of the buildings are new or newly renovated.

My uncle is from New Jersey, he and four friends came down to Alabama for school in the 70's. He said they wanted to go somewhere warm with good football and pretty girls

So, you "gained" money to build structures on your Campus while not giving a crap about where that money came from.

That is not how Universities are meant to work.

You used an educational system, for personal gain.

You deserve every drop in Educational Rankings that Earth currently affords.

Hope it looks nice up there, though.

Alabama looks like they did an old "car-lot" scam.

Looked great at first, but dropped in value to worthlessness before you realized how bad the deal was.

Numbers don't lie.

You need to pay those students back baws.

I would contend it doesn’t matter then. After you’re about 25 nobody cares where you went to school.

I went to school in order to get a degree and then a good job.

So yes, I used an educational system for personal gain. Turns out it is quite common.

It’s been my experience (and I’m an old guy) they’ve always been that way.

I’d say sooner or later they’ll realize how pathetic their jealousy is, but honestly looks like it’s getting worse.

And yet our attendance is up to 38k, we’re building housing on campus at a breakneck pace, and will be over 40k soon.

Not seeing a problem here.

What’s your attendance at?

Are you talking about basketball attendance?

Students attending UA.

Classes….you know those things we’d cut to play golf or chase girls whenever possible.

the university has had a pipeline of wealthy families from New York and New England overall sending their kids to Alabama for almost a century.

LOL Academic smack talk is overrated, Get a degree and the rest is up to the individual. There is absolutely no difference 10, 20 years down the road.

Thread would not exist if Auburn were not being left behind in today's college football landscape, and it will get worse (in terms of getting further left behind) once OU and UT join the SEC.
