Hope springs eternal: New Year’s outlook on your next season

Obviously, we Aggies will be insufferable as as lay groundwork with lofty expectations. We’ll see if Jimbo can put a fork in BAS.
Some schools will have first or second year coaches that will pump the sunshine or wallow around.
Bama has no upside left, but they could drop by 20% and still be the smart pick.
CEO is on a knife edge, but good finish to the season. Remains to be seen how off field issues affect on he program.
Florida ran out of drugs a lot earlier than they expected this season. Will Dan score some more and keep the hooks at bay, or will he begin to end his NFL career?
Can Lane revive the RebelBears, and if he does, where does he go next?
Will the Pirate get the players switched out for his system?
Will Kirby get the Dawgs over the hump?
Will we learn the names of the coaches at Auburn, Vandy, and SoCar before they are on the hot seat?
On a scale of 1 (already drinking to numb the pain) to 10 (logging new alter accounts for more trolling to multiply the fun), how optimistic are you for next year?

We should be able to keep Lane 2-3 years...prolly win 8-9 games a year for those years...after that Lane moves on to Alabama when Saban retires...

If Lane can develop our new guys on defense, we can win 8-9 games next year. We do lose Elijah Moore and Kenny Yeboah on offense, but that’s all. We return our entire backfield and our other receivers showed promise in the Outback Bowl.

Saban will retain enough say to make sure that never happens even if other power brokers want it.

It’ll be interesting because we’ll be a talented but young offense. Especially on the offensive line and WR corps unless Waddle comes back (which tbh- I wouldn’t. Kid is a first rounder.)
Alabama will have a lot of talent but young. Probably a 10-11 win season presuming we have the normal schedule next year. So rate me an 8 on excited to see some of the young talent but tempered expectations.

Alabama replaces a lot and has to go to A&M, Florida, and Auburn.
Will probably have some growing pains, but it will be fun to watch all the young kids grow up and get a lot of PT.

Pretty optimistic for next season. Lane took over a demoralized program that survived NCAA penalties and Matt Luke and turned it into a fun program in Year 1:
One of the top offenses in the country (with a sophomore QB).
Top 20 recruiting class in a strange year.
Won rivalry game against State.
Won a bowl game against a top 10 team.
We were in every game this year, which was certainly a change of pace from the Luke years.
We've got some JUCO and transfers that will be an immediate upgrade on a very poor defense. Even if we are able to roll out a middle of the pack defense next season, then I think we'll be in really good shape.
Except for two nightmare performances, Corral played great and showed a ton of improvement. Offense should take another step forward as he enters into his Junior season next year.
Granted, when you start at pretty much rock bottom, you can only move up. But, Lane has done a great job so far.

I won’t set a scale for LSU till I see who O hires for coordinators. Either way it will involve heavy drinking.
ETA: we’ve already got some guys returning which is good news and the recruiting class looks good. So it’s a positive sign so far.

Almost no Alabama fans predict the fantastic results predicted by consensus every single year for the Tigers. Keep in mind that even including the magical 2019 season, LSU has averaged finishing 3rd or 4th in the SECw the last 10 years.
