Despite averaging 32 pts per game currently, avg 27.4 pts against "ranked opponents" we've played?

This season when LSU is down by more than 8, Burrow’s completion percentage drops down to 30% due to the defense not having to respect the run.

Way too small of a sample size.

That’s a good point, but I don’t think it’s hard to see that Burrow isn’t exactly a gunslinger. His normal completion percentage is around 50%. LSU has played from ahead most of the season, so they’ve been able to maintain a pretty balanced offense. It’s not abnormal for one to think it drops when the defense knows a pass is coming.

No reason but 2 things I think will happen (besides Tua finally throws a pick, which I think we all have said something about that):

1. Devin White makes a huge early 2nd half play and Tiger Stadium explodes to some of the loudest noise we've heard.
2. The game will be close midway through the 3rd quarter and then LSU will make a huge mistake on offense that will help Alabama pull away.

Clyde Edwards Helaire has a huge game and LSU blisters Bama on multiple screens when Bama is bringing the house.

Devin White enters game in 2nd Half, plays out of his mind, and clinches the Butkus award with a pick6 and a game ending sack.

The atmosphere is beyond epic. We all tell our Grandchildren about the greatest night in Tiger Stadium.

Aranda has never given up 40 in a game as LSU DC. In 2018, the LSU defense has given up only 9 points in the 1st quarter of all games combined.
