I think Denbrock favors an option-QB attack, but that might have to be adjusted for Nussmayer and Howard, who are more pocket-passer types. For now they seem to like Daniels' legs.
We have the skill players, just depends on the O-line...

I'm surprised TAM didn't show up and ruin it.

I expect RPO's and lots of TE and slot involvement. Our WR's are as good as any. We have a nice RB rotation. Our OL that seem to be running first team seem to be some rugged run-first type guys, so including the QB in the equation, I expect to be more of an "establish the run first" offense. It will be fun to see Daniels with elite receivers.

We are starting a true freshman at LT and a Center who has bever played center and all 5 starters are new.

I am way more worried about center than LT.

We'll see more two TE sets than we're used to in the last few years.
Agreed. Notes from camp are they really want to get TEs involved in passing game even tho we severely lack depth there. They are counting on freshman Mason Taylor coming on quicker than expected.

Several players have said it is a complicated offense, which concerns me. I expect this years team to have a lot of growing pains.

Offense will be what Denbrook ran under Kelly. The play calling may change a bit based upon QB , otherwise the offense is the same.

Ex JD is playing QB and it’s second and short. May see more JD runs. Nuss playing QB may see a hand off or play action and take a shot. Nuss run a decent amount , but not as much as JD as he is a legit threat to break off a big play.

lso, do you think the offense will depend somewhat on who the QB is or will the QB choice determine the offense? J

Um....

I guess the answer to this question is yes?

Do you have a choice that is different from what you gave us?

I expect the offense to be 60-70% Jayden Daniels Mostly throwing but also running. LSU will also rush with multiple running backs probably 50/50 pass/run.

I dont think the offense will be conservative. WR is absolutely loaded. Both Qbs have gone for deep shots in the practices open to the media.

I hope we dont rely on the sideline stuff ala Miles.

There was nothing more frustrating than that short-side toss sweep Les loved to run 10 times a game.

Will C is going to be a stud, but he is still a freshman. Gerret is a heck of a lineman. I am hoping he will be fine by the State game

Excited about our WR's, very talented group. We'll have to piece it together on O early on, will get better as we geaux. Our D-line is gonna be in everybody's backfield, can't wait.

Honestly we have no damn clue. The defense will be back to traditional LSU defense, but he is going with a running option QB, so hell if I know. I expect a lot of playground plays, and the offense being difficult to prepare for, but that said I expect a lot of great plays and a lot of terrible turnovers. We could hang with you guys we could lose by 5O arky
