Ok...I'll play along...

I feel we are on the verge of great things. Our offense is just one step away from greatness, our special teams are a threat at all times, our coach is a genius, and our fanbase supports this team and university 110%.

I actually feel sorry for Gerogia, Florida, and any other team who stands in our way. How can these future opponents not be shaking in their shoes?

Holding out hope that our OL can keep improving enough, and figure out how to limit the impact of Ainias Smith's injury, and our freshmen WRs keep growing, so that we can compete against Bama.

Havent given up hope of winning that, but probably looking at losing 2 more, ending up 9-3 with a good Florida bowl or maybe the Sugar Bowl if SEC puts two in the Playoffs and Kentucky stumbles a bit.

In terms of superficial results this team is on par with Les’s teams from his final years. Awesome defense, mediocre offense, not enough horses to hang with the juggernauts, but enough stuff to compete with everyone else and have a solid season.

Beneath the superficial comparisons, though, the team is much better coached and is obviously not handcuffed at perennial 8-5 status because of the limitations of its head man. Everything is in front of them. They’re going to continue improving and be an uncomfortable draw for all the November teams – yes even Bama. They finish strong and head into 2023 as an outside candidate to win the SEC.

For LSU, we are still coming together. OL play still is very concerning to me because they are allowing too much pressure on our QB. A season ending injury to a key DL has me worried about our defense because it all starts up front. I was convinced we could not do better than a record of 3-9/4-8 early on. I am feeling much better now. 6-6 or 7-5 with a solid foundation for the future is what I am hoping for now.

Continued improvement each week...learning who can do what in game time situations and making adjustments, things you can't learn just from practice alone and the moves BK and his staff have made are working...

If this oline and defense was set in game one like it is now, LSU would be undefeated, but that was the learning curve with 22 players that have never played as a unit before with a completely new coaching staff, except Brad Davis, has to go through...

Nah Arkansas will win some games, go to a minor bowl. That is better than 2-10.

State is basically the same as last year. They’ll go as far as the OL takes them. If that unit plays well, State can beat anyone not named Bama or Georgia. But when the OL struggles, the Air Raid can be a rough watch.Rogers is good, defensively State is perfectly adequate. Better kicking I THINK. and that cost us 2-3 games last year.

The next three weeks will tell us a lot about State. Need to somehow scratch out at least 2-1 against A&M, Arkansas, and Kentucky, or else it will be difficult to consider this season a success with Bama and Georgia still to play later in the year.

Yikes. Hope the K-States loss at home the week before to Tulane was because of the fact that they spent the entire off-season and first few weeks of this season planning strictly for us.

Otherwise, we're in a heap a trouble.

Started slow but manhandled a team we should have and didn't take the foot off the gas even when the subs were played. Good one game performance and we shall see if it can continue against better competition in the coming weeks.

My take is the jury is still out. We survived a 7 point win
last year against the hogs, at HOME. We've yet to see anyone on offense do what Williams and Metchie could do last year.
Most assuredly we'll find out Saturday what kind of team we have.

Not running the ball well yet. I get that it’s harder these days to do it, but we aren’t winning enough on 1 on 1 blocks. That’s going to be problematic when we face good teams.

Defense is ok, despite not giving up much I’m seeing holes in it that haven’t been exploited much. Texas did till the good QB went out.

Tennessee's offense is good...Tennessee's defense (secondary in particular) is not. Not only can't the secondary cover anyone...they can't tackle either. It was kind of like watching the Keystone Cops out there on Saturday.

We have to clean up the turnovers, negative 2 against a good team gets anybody beat.

Other than that we dominated every aspect of the game (as we should) had 530 yards to 280, 29 first downs versus 14, Time Of Possession 37min to 23min..

Game would have easily been 50+ points for use versus 14 per so for Kent.

Turnovers and some poor execution made it a 17 point game..

Feel better about Alabama but really need to see them put together a full effort on the road this weekend before I really jump on board
