It is why it would be better to go play the younger pitchers and get the growing pains out of the way. Arkansas may struggle but maybe the pitching can get better later in the year.

Well this news is AIDS
Luckily we have a lot of talented arms. But talent =/= results.

That has been DVHs plan for the last 20 years

He missed some time last year because of arm issues
Sometimes the injuries are hard to diagnose
Kind of like Jaden Hill, he was never truly healthy at LSU and eventually it led to surgery
These 2 also played for the same summer showcase club. No coincidence that both have dealt with injuries from overuse.
Sad for PP though. Hopefully he can come back stronger.

Sadly he won't return in the Hogs lineup

Certainly a possibility. But Im not sure any MLB team will take a chance on his injury history. He may be forced to come back.

Absolutely terrible news, I know we all jab back and forth, but prayers for this young man.

Well, Hagen Smith, your role just increased.
Connor Noland, your role just increased.
Cole Ramage, same.
Zeb Vermillion, same.
Wiggins, hope you're ready for Friday night lights.

I would pretty much not get your hopes up in Ramage and Zeb, especially Ramage. Every time he comes in I slam a bottle waiting for him to give up his obligatory HR.

that really sucks

Just looked it up. Between Kopps, Wicklander, Lockhart, Pallette (injury), Bolden, Monke, & Costeiu yall lose almost 400 innings from 2021. I don't care how you recruit, that's going to be very hard to replace.
That’s insane

That sucks, sorry to hear that. Hate when guys get hurt. I want you guys full strength when LSU whoops that arse. Here is to a speedy recovery.

I would blame Wes Johnson but it seems he's no longer your pitching coach. While at Mississippi state his weighted ball routine caused like 5 pitchers to have to have season ending surgery in one season. We ended up having to use Jake Mangum on the mound some weekends.

I haven’t talked to anyone who doesn’t want Wes back as our pitching coach. We had better development with him by a good bit
