I feel like I read the same thing twice.

Dak Prescott is the best example I can think of.
Just coming to post this. There’s a reason LSU originally did not recruit him as a qb.
Dak did the football world a favor by going to MSU because we had no one on staff who could have developed him like Mullen.

Hurts and Burrow are 2

What I mean by this is does anyone know of many quarterbacks who were not great passers initially but became serviceable to good?
First 3 year stats:
124 of 245 (50.1%) 1,387 yards, 9 tds, 9 ints
Senior Year stats:
224 of 384 (58.3%), 2,800 yards, 27 tds, 13 ints

No Joe was a great passer in a bad offense. He didn’t suddenly get good over an offseason.
Wish some of the idiots in our fan base could understand this. They're still trying to credit Ensminger, even partly, for this success this year. Despite two years when he was in complete control and couldn't score a single point against Alabama in 8 quarters and had offenses ranked #69 & #38.

God help the rest of the SEC if Plumlee can get to 65% next year.

Dak Prescott. He was a horrible passer when he first got to state. He would throw it at receiver feet and miss them badly. They lost the game one time when he had a running back wide open at the goal line and he threw it about 5 yards short on a little dump pass.

Chris Relf at state went from awful to serviceable

Andre Woodson made a pretty huge leap from '05 to '06 at Kentucky. It was pretty phenomenal.

Kyle Shurmer at Vandy was one that ended up a lot better than he started. The throwing comp might be Stewart Patridge though. Oof.

IDK but your mother has definitely improved as a cocksucker since she started taking lessons from Gary Danielson!!

Nick Marshall took a big step as a passer from 2013 to 2014

Dak did, he was an average at best passer his junior year. He was elite his senior year and carried that team. That 2015 team was baaaaad and Dak single handedly won that team an extra 3 or so games.
I also think if senior Dak played on the 2014 team we beat Bama.
