Got out coached and out played damn near every snap.

It happens.

I’d much rather lose this way than a nail biter at the end or the kick 6 or some dumb shite.

Maybe Auburn fans didn't expect to find Bama players on the field

This Auburn genius was great. Anybody check to see if she's still there?

I have to say the videos of Auburn fans jumping through the bushes has helped ease the pain!

most of the time, the Ironbowl is very well played on the field and the players handle the game way better than the fans do

Lots of respect for the players of both programs. Its one of the biggest rivalries and you dont see them fighting on the field often

Beat us straight up. I didn't walk away feeling like we should have won. Hats off to AU.

Bama fans are more realistic than most, it comes with not having to hope and pray for success. They knew there was a good chance AU would win being down LBs. AU felt pretty good with the match up on the lines coming in. It wasn't like UGA where almost everyone was blindsided by the double digit victory, where UGA fans experienced shell shock.

The bad part is it really wasn't the LB's that killed us. I mean sure we could have done better on defense, but giving up 26 to Auburn isn't exactly unreasonable overall.

It's that only scoring 14 pts shite that killed us. Not going to win only scoring 14 pts on Auburn very often.

Very true. Coming in I knew the team that hit 24 would probably win. I can't imagine what possessed the coaching staff to run as little as they did. Regardless if AU started shutting it down, it would have opened up perimeter passing, and those situations that Hurts got to the outside, he would have had more one on one situations. They lived and died by the game plan. They probably thought AU's secondary was the weak link (which it is, but is serviceable), but that doesn't matter when AU's d line gets pressure with four.

I think it boils down to Bama's coaches being too overconfident with their ability to handle AU's front.

With that said, if Bama's LBs were at full strength, it would have been a 17-14 type game IMO.

It was but it's not often Bama gets whipped like that. This believe it or not is easier to get over than blowing a 21 point lead or struggling against a team that you had more talent than and just didn't perform. This was an old fashion brutal beat down. Bama was out coached, outhustled, outplayed and any other out you can think of. Hats off to Auburn y'all could have folded after giving up that LSU win but you held it together and got better. We will see what this Bama team will do now fight or quit.

Right on...

They know they’re getting into the CFP anyway, without having to play in the SECCG to get there.
