In the words of dipshite Fredi Gonzalez , "Just gotta tip your cap".

There have been some outlying melts, sure, but I will say that the incidents of trailer park shootings were uncharacteristically low this year. Hell, I even treated my sister to a candlelit TV dinner after the game.

Thank Tennessee for diverting our attention elsewhere.

Yeah, I can't understate the importance of this. The fact that several pockets of heretofore undiscovered gas ignited in the Tennessee landfill really drew attention away from our loss.

It was but it's not often Bama gets whipped like that. This believe it or not is easier to get over than blowing a 21 point lead or struggling against a team that you had more talent than and just didn't perform. This was an old fashion brutal beat down. Bama was out coached, outhustled, outplayed and any other out you can think of. Hats off to Auburn y'all could have folded after giving up that LSU win but you held it together and got better. We will see what this Bama team will do now fight or quit.

Not much to be ill or upset about when you just get your arse beat straight up.

To be fair, it's hard to be upset when you consider our run of success and that we're still an 11 win season, possible 12 (and longshot possible playoff berth still).

I'm a lot more chill about losses than I used to be.

You can't win them all, and AU played an excellent game - they were the better team.

A loss is not the end of the world, there's nothing bad or horrible about losing, just don't make it a fricking habit.

2011 we were like this. The last time we needed 2 teams to lose late in the year. We also only lost one game that year, and it kept us out of Atlanta, just like this year. Many of us are hoping lightning will strike again. It doesn't seem likely but it didn't seem likely in 2011 until it happened. Anyway, you guys have bragging rights, that means we have to take crap from you guys. But not LSU, I can still hit them 7 gifs when they try to live vicariously though you.

Auburn was the better team. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to the other team. I felt the same way after last year's loss to Clemson.

Truth. And I didn't realize it until the beatdown they put on Georgia. 2013 seemed like Auburn got very lucky. The late bomb against Georgia, the kick 6, big comeback against A&M, comeback against MSU. I kept thinking it would catch up to them at some point. This team is different. After they lost to LSU this year, they whipped everyone else on the schedule, scoring in the 40s or 50s against everyone and the defense kept most opponents in the teens.

I feel the same way, it's a lot better than the Dubose, Fran, (Price months), and Shula years.
