What a delight. Someone that actually recognizes whats going on in the football game. Versus someone who is oblivious.

Gary knows his shite. The thing people hate him for is the incredibly douchey way he delivers it.
Like for example when Trask went down in the FLA/AUB game he was already talking about how he’d be out for the season and the 3rd string would have to get into the role early.
He was saying things like “just when the season started for Trask he’s already out” and In reference to what Trask was probably thinking...“I’m hurt, I’m hurt, it’s over, this is it.”
Dude hadn’t even gotten off the field yet, and Gary was already stirring up drama.

Gary Danielson is not oblivious- he is a very astute color guy and observer. But I do prefer Herbstreit.

I like Gary more than most, but if things are going bad he pisses you off. It’s like the way he delivers it just rubs it in. That and how he latches on to a star player and sucks his dick the whole game. I rewatched the 07 Florida game the other day and the Tebow suck fest was incredible

Danielson knows his shite and does his homework. People just hate his voice and personality.
But he is incredibly football smart. Calls plays constantly before they happen, knows all the formations each team runs and what comes out of them, etc.
