Red Elephant Club used to handle the Refs. Looks like LSU out bid us this year.

CFB is multi-billion dollar a year industry and an entire segment of the people managing the industry are part time employees who may be employed because of who they know as much as what they know. It is well past time for CFB officials to be full time professionals who are held to some established standard.

LSU fans still regularly cry about how unfair it was to have to play Alabama twice, 13 years ago.

It's amazing the NFL has turned around and become the go-to league for me to watch in terms of football. College football is almost unwatchable at this point.

Here are a few receipts from the last 4 months where LSU fans are still complaining about a call from 2009. Fifteen years later.

Patrick Peterson Exhibit A

Patrick Peterson Exhibit B

Patrick Peterson Exhibit C

They were terrible the entire game and were the main reason the game lasted more than four hours.

Calling out the wrong number on at least six penalties was just the beginning.

I know there's been a lot of talk on the unsportsmanlike penalty hit on Nuss that negated the pick-6 and the leap over the shield on the blocked punt, but there were so many other ridiculous calls and no calls throughout the game.

To me, the most egregious was the offensive PI on SC later in the game. Did a receiver engage with a DB before the ball was caught? yes... but they were like 30 yards away from the intended receiver. I just feel like they should use some sort of common sense there.

I am sure you have only talked or posted about (take your pick of the long list of refereeing conspiracies LSU fans have) for a few days and then put it to rest never to bring it up again. That is so LSU fan of you.

LSU fans believe they only ever lost to Bama as much as they did due to the refs, and not Saban. We certainly have more of a case than those delusional corndogs do.
