Good grief, even if you don't want Texas in the SEC at least have some dignity about the situation and get off the floor and stop openly crying about it. I can't imagine being such a vag that I didn't want Auburn to play Alabama every year even when they are in the greatest run of any program in modern CFB history.

Who does Texas A&M think they are anyway? You come in the league, haven't been to Atlanta in a decade, and think you get to throw weight around?

FTR I don't want Texas and OU either but guess what? Us real OGs didn't want Aggie and Mizzou yet here we are.

I dont think anyone really cares if OU joins. Its the shite that comes with Texas that people dont want to be apart of. You cant argue adding them wouldnt be fun to watch on the field but its so much more than that when dealing with the libs in Austin.

I posted yesterday that I am all for it. I know a lot of Ags and Texass fans that feel the same. Would be great for college football fans.

This is why I love messing with you, I'm not the best speller on a smartphone with size 10 ? hands. You claim Bama and Aggie as grammar nazi but you literally do exactly the same thing and excuse yourself. Don't change buttercup....

You honestly think this is about fear of playing Texas? That's not even in the Top 20 of reasons. You don't comprehend just how powerful and evil Texas is and how they operate. They have power across all areas and they use it mercilessly to destroy their competition. They don't see anyone as remotely their equal or partner. You don't realize just how much power A&M had to use to get away from them.

They have a $31 Billion Endowment, more than double all of the rest of the SEC COMBINED minus A&M (ours is $13 Billion). They have more inside control of ESPN, the MSM, and recruiting services than any other school (Hell Bobby Burton who founded Rivals works for them). They have deep connections within the NCAA and the enforcement mechanism of it.

They play dirty on a level most SEC fans can't comprehend and they destroy everything they touch. Just ask Nebraska. And SMU. And Rice. And Houston. Oh, and now they are trying to add Tech, Baylor, TCU, and OSU to their list of dead bodies.

But you’re too stupid to see that THAT guy was doing what you all do, while being as pathetic as….well….. you.

How are you so retarded that you didn’t even see that?

I already know the answer (you were too busy trying to formulate a response without even seeing the whole post) but I would LOVE for you to expound on that.

Go back, read it (or have someone read it TO you). Give it a try, simp

Yup. I’d rather play them every year out of conference but if this is the only way to get the game back then so be it.

I do think the rest of the SEC underestimated the baggage they’re getting with texas. The SEC is big enough and strong enough to manage them but don’t think you’re getting someone who views themself as an equal business partner.

Jesus, quit being such a pussy, Aggy.

yeahhhhhhhhhh, I think you have a skewed perspective on this. Yes, you were the little brother in our old relationship. You hated that, got it. You left to form an identity apparently (per your AD yesterday haha). But ultimately, it was a whatever kind of reaction from our fanbase. And to your credit, its starting to pan out for you, well done!

But this is about the future of college athletics. The NCAA is imploding and the SEC is in the pole position going forward. Makes sense for Texas and OU to join in so we have a seat at the table. Makes sense for the SEC to add the #1 and #8 athletic revenue schools to the party and everyone makes even more coin. With Texas and OU in, SEC goes from pole position in leading whatever the NCAA morphs into... to lapping the field and dictating terms to the rest of the country. Its pretty basic and its why no one is going to vote against this...

Well the other side of this is Aggies finally get to say “I told you so!”

We were right the LHN was a bad idea. We were right that the SEC was the best option for a conference near the state (not the PAC like they wanted). We were right that the Big 12 was doomed.

If you could hand all of that and SEC money to an Aggie from 2011 they would have died and gone to heaven. The problem is since then we built up dreams of more, and this era of them being stuck in an irrelevant conference has been good for us.

At the end of the day though, a program is only as good as the coach and the talent base and we have spent the last decade building up to a Jimbo and Houston recruiting success. Given where we started we did the best we could with the time we had, time will tell if it was enough to not get back to where we were in the Big 12 South.

All that and they still can't win 9 games in the Big 12. They can't even destroy their competition in the Big 12 but you think they're going to come in to the SEC and start slinging that power around. Let the Austin libs come and see what baw ball is all about.
