Have to go with the Danley hit as being more vicious, but Clowney's is the better play, and the most timely in terms of game importance too.

Best part isn't the hit, it's having the presence of mind to snag the ball one-handed as it bounces free. Of course Clowney may have assumed it was Denard's head, and he was going to be polite and hand it back to him.

Casey Dick jacking up Chad Jones is a classic.

Casey Dick was the modern day Ronnie Lott, though.

The reason Ronnie Brown was knocked out on the rosegreen hit was because it was helmet to helmet. That was a dirty play.

Heath Miller

I'm putting this back up just so it doesn't get lost in the mix of the other ones I posted. This has got to be the worst hit just about ever. I remember watching it live and thinking- "I just saw someone die... holy sh!t... he's dead."

Apparently Kent bit off part of his tongue on the hit too.

Earl Campbell was always good for dishing out hits to defenders. not devastating, but pretty good shots for a RB

Greg Jones at FSU destroying that guy from North Carolina. If he wouldn't have hit his teammate, the impact from that hit would have sent him 25 yards downfield in the air

Jarvis Williams' hit on Mel Bratton.
I don't know who the other gator was that is behind Bratton during the hit (Possibly A.R. White?), but it was a definite guillotine style hit.

There was no love in this series. Both teams hated each other when this rivalry was played yearly.
