Has there ever been a harder hit in football than the Clowney hit?

I'm having a hard time finding one.

Post up some links to some hard football hits and lets compare some. They dont necessarily have to be in the same league as the Clowney hit, just post some vicious hits. I'm in the mood to see some folks get dismembered on the grid iron.

The hardest hit i've ever seen was Zach Stacy for Ohio state vs Auburn in the late 80's. I'll see if I can find a link. It was a classic swing pass that was lead a little too far and ended in a full speed destruction

Maube it was Zach Dumas..i'll find it

When junior rosegreeen killed the Georgia guy in 04. I think that was more violent, but the clowney hit was more impressive simply based off the power he had behind the hit with such little time to get his speed up

I know Patrick Willis dropped a NASTY one on us when he was at Ole Miss.

And there was that Mississippi State kid that we'd blow up on special teams every year.

Force = Mass x Acceleration would suggest that there have in fact been harder hits, since neither Clowney nor the RB had time to get to full speed. I've seen collisions on kickoffs, WR's over the middle, QB blindside sacks, etc that were more violent.

However, the popping off the helmet and fumble combined with the game situation give this hit a "larger than life" feel and it's definitely one of the "best" hits I have ever seen.
