Just look how many great football players come from Nebraska or any state surrounding SDakota, Iowa, Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri

Compare that to just Alabama not to mention the states surrounding Alabama

Sure. Now think about the competition in the Big 8 versus the current SEC. Or what about the additional tools he had to work with? The scholarship limits weren't completely reduced until late in his career. Nebraksa also had a county scholarship program to use on in-state players, in addition to the massive walkon program. That freed up a lot of room to recruit nationally. They did it well in those days.

They also had a major advantage with strength and conditioning. No one else was emphasizing it like NU. Boyd Epley redefined strength and conditioning.

Missouri was not a major player after 1969 i the Big 8. Oklahoma State had two solid years during that time period. That was 1976 and 1984. Colorado was a late comer. They didn't really pose a threat until Bill McCartney was hired in 1982. And his rebuild didn't take off until 1989.

So that leaves Oklahoma. And when the fact that Oklahoma and Nebraska won 74 combined conference titles during the existence of the Big 8, it's a hard argument to suggest it was a tough league for all of Osborne's tenure. But I will give you the fact that from 1990-1995 it was as good of a league as anywhere else.

It's funny when you consider that USC doesn't actually have a national championship under Pete Carroll

Has Alabama reached that point.
That lost to Ohio State makes me wonder because on that night it looked like Bama was outclassed something that never happened to USC or Miami in their prime

Nebraska never was because they never did have much in the terms of talent

A.. Football existed before you were born. No, seriously, it did.

B. I don't care who you are, you are going to lose sometime.

C. There have been many dynasties in football. Way more than "in your life" and this is like Bama's third or 4th time to have this title. Oklahoma may have had the greatest ever.

NC are irrelevant prior to 2015

The committee makes the one post 2015 somewhat as well

Wouldn't this make your whole argument irrelevant since this would be saying that USC and Miami didn't achieve anything?

That's why Osborne recruited California.

And you keep bringing up up lack of NFL success from Bama players. Well, if they do great in college, but not in the NFL, is say that makes Saban even more impressive. Since he's obviously coaching up inferior talent to the other dynasties.

Oh, and tits or gtfo.

That's low hanging fruit. If that wasn't brought up by a Bama fan within the first few posts, I'd have been disappointed.

Really tigress? I mean OSU, that was. 7 point game that Bama squandered a 21 point lead. How many times has Bama really seen blown out since the streak in 2008 started? Give me a plus 14 game??
