Good lord no.
I listened to about 5 minutes of it when I lived in Alabama - he was terrible then, and the only reason he got national is because Alabama and Auburn became nationally relevant again with Saban and Cam/Nick.

Gump morons call on the regular. I can't believe he is the face of SEC football. He slobbed Mike Slive's knob for a spot of the SEC network. Stopped listening over a decade ago.

Like 10+ years ago. They were discussing financing for the Montgomery Biscuits baseball stadium and they were imposing a tax on hotel rooms to pay for the stadium and the guy from the Biscuits kept saying "Whats great is it isnt going to cost the citizens of Montgomery anything!" Well he kept saying it and kept saying it, I finally called in and asked the moron "if the money from the tax wasnt going to the stadium what would it be going to?" He went "ugh ugh ugh" and I said "exactly. So quit saying it isnt costing the citizens of Montgomery anything." I later felt bad about doing it

Finebaum's regular...bama fans... have a different phone number to use to get through, as the main one is always busy. This per the bamaN's producer. Plus, the show's screeners ask why you are calling & again, bama fans get preference.

Once, sometime last fall when Alleva was in trouble for Les and Florida. He lets you talk more than most talk show hosts - doesn't interrupt you like O'Reilly or even Levin. He actually agreed that Alleva was not perceived very well.
BTW, once you get put on hold by the call screener, turn the sound down on your radio since there's a 8-10 second delay. You'll get confused otherwise. It's pretty cool to go back and listen to yourself on the podcast.

I notice the same 5-6 callers keep getting on the show every day. So they must have a different number to get through than everyone else.

It is an embarrassment to all things SEC that he is considered the face of the SEC. Plays right into the perceptions of people in other conferences. IMO PF is part of the reason the SEC is no longer held in high regard....well that and the fact that nobody but UAT is winning..
