Looks like a pretty dramatic difference in 5 years, IMO.

Very common for a workaholic nearing 50 to grey "quickly." Are you really as clueless about aging as you are acting? Or are you just easily fooled by hair eye?

Are you attempting to tell me that the only aging he’s done is the color of his hair?

I was hoping for 20 years out of Kirby, but with the state of the game today we might be lucky to get 15

Wouldn’t shock me if he walked away in the next 5 years. The state of the game will drive many away. Kirby will have plenty of money by then and may just say screw this, I’d rather spend time with my family.

Hair color fools a lot of people like yourself.

The same point applies to other areas of aging, such as skin health.

As opposed to Les Miles or Ed Orgeron?

That is pretty funny.

Winning national championships will do that to you. Look at Meyer during his tenure at Florida

Kirby is going to retire or move on in the next five years. The stress of being a big time college coach is higher now more than ever. Kirby is a clone of Saban. He’s sick of the bullshite just like Saban is/was.

I agree with this. I can't imagine the physical and mental toll that working 18 hour days, 7 days a week, with no real time off would take. Also, dealing with egotistical teenagers who have all of the leverage would get old very quickly. I can't imagine the shitbag family members college coaches have to deal with on top of this, like Caleb Williams's dad, Kawhi Leonard's Uncle Dennis, etc...

He's always looked pretty bad. Not much different other than the greying.
He's gained at least 30 pounds in 5 yrs. Maybe he won't allow himself to blow up like a Macy's parade float like Terry Bowden.

Smart is carrying around a lot of sneaky and conniving guilt. He would sell out his mother for football glory.

Richt looked good at 48. But, I remember seeing him his last few years at UGA and Miami and he looked like an old man rotting away before my eyes.

If his hair color was the only thing that’s changed, you might be onto something.

I mean, I'm okay with fat jokes about coaches... but not when your team's coach is just as fat or fatter. Then you should probably not comment.

Dude is my age but looks 30 years older, for 2 championships? It’s not worth 30 years of his life.

Did he make a deal with the devil?

The best part of this thread isn't even that Kirby looks like an old woman, its that the most insecure fanbase in the country feels the need to defend their coach's looks

Phat Josh is Phat and we love it.

It's weird that the Georgia fans feel like they need to run interference for their head coach getting old, gray and fat.

"Ohhh breaking news, a human is aging! It's just the lighting, and the angle is bad. It's a stressful job. He doesn't have time to color his hair."

Dawg fans it's OK that he's old gray and fat. He can still be a great coach while being these things.
