EDGE
SAFETY
OFFENSIVE TACKLE

BAMA 2023... literally last year.

RB
LB
OT

BAMA 2017

I'm sure there are more, and especially from other teams.

You seem awfully confident... that's never a good idea in recruiting, especially 1 year out

Now this is how you do it Stephen. Great thread. You should go ahead and start celebrating the 2028 national championship now. I do wonder who will be LSU’s coach by then though.

In 2002, Texas had the #1 overall recruiting class and it wasn't even close. This was the VY class that had lots of NFL players & All-Americans (and they won a national title). That class had the #1 QB, #1 O-lineman, #1 D-lineman AND the #1 WR (but the WR failed to academically qualify and never attended Texas).

That's not gonna be good for anybody.

Games are won in the trenches, anyway.

This assumes a number of things, chief among them being:

1. All 3 of those players ultimately sign with LSU
2. All 3 of those players stay at #1 at their position

I don't know how often this happens, but I do know that players move all over the place rankings wise so who the F knows where any of those 3 end up

How do you define “major position”?

Yeah, anything could be considered a major position.

That wouldn't hurt for sure... Should Bama aim for the #1 QB, O-Lineman, & WR?

You should up it to the #1 player at 5 different positions. LSU would go 5 for 5, guaranteed.

Poor Texas fans still bringing up Vince Young in 2005 even though we’re pushing 20 years. That must be tough lol.
