Quarterback
Running back
Wide receiver

LSU may be the first class to do so when Bryce Underwood commits to LSU for the class of 2025

Feel like USC may have done it in the Reggie Bush class possibly.

They didn't even have the #1 recruiting class Bush's year. He was actually their only 5 star in his class

They did sign 8 5 stars in 2004 (the year after Bush) but none of them were QBs or RBs. In 2005, they signed Mark Sanchez (QB) and Patrick Turner (WR) who were both 5 stars and the #1 players at their positions

How do you define “major position”?

Just a question for clarification.

Is that consensus #1 on every recruiting service that "evaluates"?

Other than that, it's a nice recruiting accomplishment regardless. They still have to perform between the lines against people that are equal to them or possibly even better every week.

Maybe... just maybe... you should aim for the #1 at DL, LB and DB?

I think that side of the football needed WAY more help this year.
