Players can finance these. I know. I financed for players in the past when I was in car sales years ago.

Cars are not hard to get anymore. They can show enough money in and very little expenses. So that isn't shocking to see decent cars when they have free food, room and board, etc.

EVERY program pushes the boundaries, makes strong arse offers and provided benefits when needed.

Said LSU is clean. I asked directly and he said Ed isn't that kind of guy. Auburn as far as he knows has been as well.

I followed right up to this.

Now I see your guy was just shooting shite and not speaking about anything he knew.

Ed was willing to go along with his asst coach telling a transparent lie about being punched, so it seems hard to believe that he's not the kinda guy who would cheat. Combine a) the fact that LSU staff is comprised of known liars with b) the fact that they are recruiting lights out right now, mostly from out of state, and c) the fact that LSU has done everything in its power to protect a basketball coach who is on tape offering money for a recruit, then it seems really hard to believe that their football team doesn't cheat.

As an unbiased observer, there is a helluva lot of butthurt in this post.

Congrats, you just described a few thousand different staffers, coaches, and reporters who have been actively involved in college football recruiting for the past 20 or so years.

I too know people involved in this industry who would disagree with some of the assertions made here.

He said the program is dirty, but football is not to his knowledge. Said Ed O is pretty stand up and respected in the community by large, and he would highly doubt he would do it the wrong way. I just shortened what he said.

I would assume with far less schools paying if that is indeed true, the need to do so becomes less.

You are correct. It is who is actually making the payments is the thing.

Possible. I'm sure some would. Was just one source. It's certainly not a reporter though, and not involved in a site. Has been involved directly. I just thought it was pretty interesting so posted it. Don't have to agree or believe

1. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm afraid this is true. I think the aregious cheating from the days of Julio Jones, Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, even DJ Fluker are over in Tuscaloosa. I wish that were not the case because I'd love to see them get busted.

2. Still some fringe benefits from boosters, but I think a lot of that was quelled when the players began to get a stipend.

3. Kirby and Jeremy Pruitt are dirty as a crack whore's butthole and most people in Atlanta who are dialed in know it. That's the Saban model… cheat like a motherfricker early get guys to the league and let up after that period.

4. Sounds plausible

5. Kirby. Greg McGarity is weak as water as an AD and Kirby knows it. Kirby knows hes got about 2-3 more years of rampant cheating before the cement dries. George Pickens says "thanks".

6. Gonna be tough for anybody to beat Bama or Georgia in the next few years. They are just too stacked. UF has a few years to go. But Mullen is a better coach.

Number 3 was not involving Tennessee. Number 5 may have been though.

I have been on here for years claiming Bama cheats...so not like I have a reason to make that part up. I was generally surprised by it.

No school is just handing out bags of cash. We know that for sure............

However, every single one of them has a very established network of outsiders ready to go at the drop of a hat. They have car people. Food people. Furniture people. Clothing people. People to co-sign on houses. People ready to go with job offers for the family. You name it.

You see posts like this on message boards of mediocre programs constantly. It’s probably just copy-and-paste. No one can prove or disprove any of it so it’s perfect cover.

The level of delusion being reached by Auburn and Florida fans is insane.

UGA hasn't won a damn thing since 1980, and yet somehow they still dominate 100% of your thoughts.

Just because it doesn't say what you want it to doesn't make it full of shite. Sorry.
