So the other candidates who have interviewed for the job have had their names publicly announced yet they are keeping Grubbs interview on the hush hush.

Grubb has been mentioned numerous times as a potential candidate.

To say that he isn't being considered is an irrefragable statement.

Who is more full of shite, Guilbeau or Moscona?

Is this like when you insisted Alabama wasn't bringing in a transfer quarterback while Tyler Buchner was literally enroute to Tuscaloosa?

Who said anything about him not being a candidate?

I said he hasn't interviewed for the position.

You wanna find another link proving me wrong or you gonna post another article with some dudes opinion over facts?

Apparently, he also knows an NFL opportunity doesn't come along every day and he would not have to spend long days recruiting and dealing with NIL and the transfer portal.

No shite. He'd be stupid not to take that job if offered.

I don't think he's even had an interview yet, though.

Personally, I hope he stays for a couple of years. He's great at what he does. There's a reason Saban tried to get him to Bama to replace Sark.

In his situation, with the portal still being open, an announcement will only come when either someone else takes the job in Seattle or he breaks it to the Bama players.

I have no reason to believe that Grubb has not talked with McDonald.

If you think otherwise so be it.

I just mentioned to a buddy of mine this morning that something told me Grubb was leaving and Alabama wasn't going to announce it until after signing day so they wouldn't lose any recruits.

The longer the story stays out there with no word from the Seahawks or Grubb that he's no longer a candidate tells you all you need to know. Grubb is at least a finalist for the Seahawks OC job or he's already the Seahawks OC and they are waiting to make it official.

If I'm interpreting your double negatives correctly you're just saying you believe it in your mind as opposing to having any actual data.

A lot of “may” and “if” in that link. Sounds like wish casting.

Based on all of the Seattle press attention, I would find it hard to believe that the two have not had at least a phone conversation.

That isn't exactly a far fetched opinion.

In 2024, being an OC for an NFL team is objectively better than being an OC in college.

Similar money, don't have to deal with millionaire 18 year olds and recruiting, etc.

In this case, he wouldn't even have to move his family. It's still not clear he's been offered, however.
