I love how people on the Bama board and social media freely and regularly call Grubb names like "dumbfrick," "fricking idiot" and "retard" yet the same people get their panties in a wad and clutch their pearls so hard over him calling out boo birds and saying "your fans" in the context of talking to players about fans booing.

No it's not.

It's only the feeling ignorant fans who don't understand shite about football do because they emotionally invest in something they have no control over.

That leads to frustration and things they can't change, so they lash out at anything you can find and blame to unload their frustrations on.

Grubb hasn't called a bad game yet this year is the actual truth of the matter.

The ECU game was purposely vanilla and we won easily.

The Kentucky game was a little tough at the start because KR is a true freshman QB in his 2nd start and he wasn't running the RPO properly, often keeping the ball when he shouldn't.

We only punted twice in the FSU game, which were the first 2 drives. Then we adjusted and didn't punt the rest of the game and put up 50. The first drive killed due to a false start as Alabama had 12 yards in the 1st 2 plays and then got stopped on 3rd and 3. The 2nd due to a pass just short of the line.

Here is how every other drive ended the rest of the game:

We only punted once in the Kentucky game, but KR had a couple of turnovers.

But you're mad over a couple of 3 and outs to start the game. And the entire reason it was 21-6 had nothing to do with our offense. It was our defense who had the poor start, and in general a bad game.

Alabama fans are spoiled and stupid.

He went into that locker room after the game and told the players the BAMA fans were booing them. Then he came out of the locker room and told us the same. He told the players, "Your Fans," not his fans, he said, Your Fans, quit on you." Grubbs can kiss off at that point. Those fans just sat through 2 weather delays that went nearly 6 hours in heat no one should bear for 3 hours. A game that started at 3:30 ended a little after 9:00. BAMA fans don't quit on the players.

If they quit on Grubbs, this is the kind of crap that will talk it into existence. And I don't personally accept his half-arse apology, just so you know the rest of the story.

We actually have no idea how the convo with the players about fans booing started. For all we know, the players mentioned something to him about it first.

It is a bad look for Alabama fans when they are booing their own offense, players or coaches, when they are averaging 47.7 points per game.

Saban used to criticize the fanbase regularly. And he wasn’t wrong. Just like Grubb wasn’t wrong.
