Why did Grubb feel the need to come out immediately and offer a half-arse apology to BAMA fans? Explain to one and all how that is just a common occurrence, BAMA fan?
I'm telling you what our OC did and said, and at the same time he's trying to put out a fire he started by taking it back. That's a Grubb problem, not a BAMA fan issue. I see nothing common about it.

So you emotionally invest in things you have no control over, and then take out your frustration on everyone else around you?
The fans who boo'd should have been checked by other fans in the stadium. It's a bad look from the fan base and shouldn't be considered acceptable.

And no one is telling me there's nothing to see here. Grubbs is backtracking faster than a thief leaving the scene of the crime.

I usually am pretty calm in the first half of games, whether we are beating arse, or getting our arse beat. I've seen way too many games flip after halftime to get emotional in the first half.

Good for you. I just watched the same show the week before. Guess why the BAMA fans were booing? This time against a team that handed it to us last season, after telling us they were going to hand it to us. You may not grasp the full concept of BAMA fandom.

What was inaccurate about his statement?
Again, the people who boo'd should be checked by other fans because that is some loser arse bullshite. Especially that early in a game.

In the first quarter Alabama and FSU each had 3 possessions. Here is the number of plays each offense ran and points scored in the first half. Alabama led in time of possession in each quarter.
1st quarter
FSU: 11 plays, 14 points
Alabama: 20 plays, 3 points
2nd quarter
FSU: 18 plays, 7 points
Alabama: 20 plays, 23 points
The Alabama defense was on the field in the first quarter less than the FSU D because they either took the ball away or let FSU bust a big play.
Here is what FSU’s three 1st quarter possessions looked like.
7 plays, 72 yards, 3:27, TD
1 play, 0 yards, .08, interception
3 plays, 69 yards, 1:17, TD
