Because Grubb was like "Well I guess I can't call any more bad plays now". Seriously? Games are won and lost in the prep, not because a bunch of loser bitches were crying in the crowd.
3 punts in the past 2 games and you idiots are booing the team and the OC. Bunch of fricking losers with loser attitudes and loser energy.

That is kind of like this situation. Alabama fans were booing a certain coach and this coach decided to tell all the players it was really them being booed.
That is dishonest and disingenuous.
This analogy would work if the boos could somehow be specifically targeted to a certain person. In some contexts they can be, but all boos sound the same as its a one word phrase, and in this case the booing was a result of our offense not performing well. Our offense is comprised of many players, and coaches. So how are the players to know that it wasn't them being booed? How can you prove that they weren't the target of the boos along with Grubb?

It is immaterial... Grubb should keep his mouth shut. All he did was sow discord and communicate to those under his charge that they play for buttholes. Total childish move. He should shut up - take responsibility for anything he can - praise his team - and shut up

Grubb said to the players in the locker room that the boos were directed at them. He also said more; he said, If you guys had quit, the way BAMA fans quit on you, you would never have come back.
How did Grubb know all that was in those BAMA boos to interpret for the players and then for the BAMA fans? You still can't see where it all went wrong? Or why he is feeling the heat?

For proof just look at this thread where some fans are screaming bloody murder about an OC with the 7th highest scoring offense in college football.

Based on the way Bama’s offense played in the second half whatever he said worked. Alabama scored on every possession in the second half, and only one of those was a field goal.

And I will add - I do not support booing. It is too easy to misunderstand or interpret. However, Grubb demonstrated poor leadership and the fact that you are defending his crazy display, shows that you aren't a leader either. If anyone should have said anything, it was the head coach. Grubb was WAY out of line
