I'm telling you what our OC did and said, and at the same time he's trying to put out a fire he started by taking it back. That's a Grubb problem, not a BAMA fan issue. I see nothing common about it.
You are correct. He did make a mistake apologizing for being correct. He should have not said anything. And if he did say something he should have said something like “to the bitch arse Alabama fans who took offense to my statement, you can STFU or GTFO, there are plenty of other bandwagons you can go ride.”

Grubb is going to have to toughen up if he’s going to make it at Bama. And definitely stop antagonizing the fans when they already don’t like you.

We have a great coaching staff, the NCAA isn't breathing down our necks and the team has constantly improved over the past few years. Our you can learn a little football so you can understand what is going on rather than just creating a scapegoat to blame everything for no matter what happens.
Then rather than blaming the OC you'd recognize things like this guy missed an assignment, KR made the wrong read on the RPO, and so on.
And then, stick with me here, you can think - well that's the kind of thing these guys can get fixed and will get better with more reps and experience.
And you can stop being a bitch and stop booing your undefeated team in the 1st quarter of a big game because something didn't go to your liking.

No, I that's not true. At the time of the booing, we had not had just 2 punts the entire game because the game was not over yet.
The fans were booing Grubb because they thought he was Grubbing again. The lovely and wise Alabama fans had seen a lot of Grubbing just the year before and didn't want to see Grubb doing his Grubbing routine again.
Thankfully, the boos woke Grubb up and snapped him out of Grubbland and he called a good game from there on out.
You should be praising the Bama fans for calling his shite and not standing for it. Bama fans expect excellence.
You should be ashamed of yourself for claiming, like Grubb did, that Bama fans were booing children on the field.
Grubb is ashamed of what he said and how he falsely and maliciously presented the situation to the children and apologized for his actions, are you ashamed of how you've characterized the situation?

Calling out Crimsons Bozo's insider claims as being false over and over.
Much of which was for pointing out Golding wasn't going to be fired, Saban was happy with him, and that the biggest problem for the year was injuries to the point where Saban even once said "What we have to work with is what we have to work with". Mostly referring to Shane Lee who was a true freshman playing Mike and who never started a game after that season despite being on the team for 2 more years after and then transferring.
But Alabama fans anointed Golding the sacrifice much like they are doing to Grubb now, and that gave Bozo the balls to carry it out.
Oh, and then we/he won the national championship the next year.
It's also the best thing that's happen to me on this forum which is why I've never one asked to be reinstated even while being told I could be if I wanted. I can tell people they are stupid here without worrying about butthurt mods.
