Outside of Beards family connections to the area of West Texas, anyone with half a brain would leave Texas Tech for the Arkansas head coaching job.
Quit attempting to put Tech on some sort of basketball pedestal that doesn’t even exist, even after their run to the Final Four this year.

Meh. Arky hasn't done anything since Nolan left. I don't really think you can patronize tech like A&M. Arky and Tech measure up about the same.

Well, he's already great at WS, and everyone else knowing that drives up his.... err, see #1 above.
Added bonus: he's the king at WS. At Ark, he'd have to share the spotlight with the football program.
