I'd tell Schiano's reps to go away or else I'm scheduling a press conference for the whole world to hear that we overlooked the small fact that Schiano allegedly overlooked a child fricker. I'd tell them we would use the phrase "allegedly complicit with child fricking" at least 10 times in the press conference.

And then he would sue your arse into the stratosphere for liable and defamation over some hearsay and rumor. Jesus Christ you Vol fans may be the absolute dumbest in the country.

He's an Arkansas fan.

But, yeah.

hope this goes to court. Judge will order that the contract be voided because of the environment on campus and the fact that neither party saw this coming (apparently).

Jesus Christ, this is the dumbest shite I’ve read in this thread yet.

If I was the AD at Tennessee no way I'd stay there. You can't even make a hire and it was going to be a good hire at that. Complete clusterfrick at Tennessee.

Schiano can rightly argue that Tenn could have potentially prevented him from getting another head coaching job by their actions. Tenn is gonna pay

Speculative damages unless he can prove he gave up another opportunity that was actually offered to him.

What about the part where Vol officials have already admitted to vetting the Penn State story is confusing to you?

Just stop. You're being a moron.

I like how Tennessee fans are using the whole Penn State thing as an excuse.

They're really just mad because they best their AD could come up with was a washed up coach.

Most MoUs are only signed by the party of the second. But if Currie signed . . .

Lawyers are gonna get rich off this.

Bingo.

Schiano would have been the most qualified coach with the best record they would have hired since Majors. Fulmer had never even been a head coach.

Schiano built a program from rubble and was a NFL head coach. Yet, you guys think you can do better? Gruden will never be your head coach! NEVER!

Lol no shite.

We are resourceful, we were not going to settle for another average Yankee prick. Maybe LSU fans can take a page from our playbook next time you’re searching for a coach

Honestly I didn't see that. So in that case you'd just have to threaten to go in front of the camera and say "we didn't anticipate the degree of opposition to hiring someone who was allegedly complicit with child fricking."

No coach with options will touch Tennessee. I thought Texas and Florida were bad but they can't compare to Tennessee.
