Must be hard up for work if you are here trying to give us free lessons. I agree we are paying him. Please don’t reply to me anymore. Thanks

Schiano can rightly argue that Tenn could have potentially prevented him from getting another head coaching job by their actions. Tenn is gonna pay

You actually can. Happened today.

They may pay him some money. He’s not going to sue for defamation. And the AD isn’t responsible for postings on VolNation.

This. UT is going to have to pay him a lot to not coach there.

Are you serious? LOL No, Tennessee won't hire a coach worth a damn because of this.

This will insure they avoid pedo sympathizers and those that turn a blind eye to seeing it go down.

What contract?

Hooray you got one.

Read a bit about Contract law and you'd know Tennessee was wrong for this.

UT isn't wrong for anything. They've done nothing. In fact, at this point, if UT were to demand he sign the final deal and move to Knoxville and start duties as head coach, UT would then be under a lot of risk with regard to liability if Schiano has property damage or is assaulted etc. I hope this goes to court. Judge will order that the contract be voided because of the environment on campus and the fact that neither party saw this coming (apparently). There are some good books at the library that cover this stuff. Pick one up some time.

Why not just sign the contract if the memorandum is just as good? What's the point?

Not only are they going to pay, how much has this damaged their chances of hiring a good coach? Seriously. Not sure I would be jumping on board that train.

...or else I'm scheduling a press conference for the whole world to hear that we overlooked the small fact that Schiano allegedly overlooked a child fricker. I'd tell them we would use the phrase "allegedly complicit with child fricking" at least 10 times in the press conference.

Of course you would...and you'd look like a fricking idiot for having already said that you vetted that whole Penn State story.

Arkansas fan giving Tennessee advice on hiring coaches.

UT fans think they know more about Schiano than employers. Enjoy another pathetic hire.

And then he would sue your arse into the stratosphere for liable and defamation over some hearsay and rumor. Jesus Christ you Vol fans may be the absolute dumbest in the country.
