See, I am a football fan. I like watching good football teams play against other good football teams. I am loving the 9 game schedule because it has resulted in more good games for me to watch each week by eliminating a week’s worth of bad OOC rent-win matchups for every team.
The stark difference between how entertaining the SEC games have been so far this season week after week compared to the Big 10 and ACC is enormous, and tv ratings are reflecting that. As a result, expect the SEC to be able to negotiate for a better media deal soon as the advertising slots in these higher rating games should be more valuable. This money will enrich every team in the conference.
We don’t have the BCS or even a 4 team playoff anymore, where one loss eliminates you. Teams with 2 or 3 losses will make the playoffs, especially next year when they expand it even more. The SEC is going to get 3 or 4 teams in this tournament. Don’t worry.

so now 9 games and then we have to play another big ten team lol…… Play UGA Michigan Texas in first half of games and your team will be decimated . UGA is beat up as well but has better depth than most but it’s why they lost to Auburn …. Same think with OU losing to Kentucky having hobbling OL all over the field …. its bullshite . I know it’s part for game no excuses but every single sec team is hurt some worse than others right now.

Ohio State has lost there starting QB for the year. starting RB for the foreseeable future and all they say is next man up.

There is a reason why MLB hasn't extended their minor league play past Labor Day. 18 to 22 year old kids are not quite there yet in terms of endurance. The extra wear and tear also prompts the likelihood of ligament injuries.
How many on this board think that letting boys play in girls sports is unfair and creates an unbalanced advantage?
Well, hate to tell you, but the same is true for the way that the SEC teams beat each other up and then expect to do well in the playoffs against teams that have not endured nearly half as much wear and tear.
The WOKE ESPN execs in Connecticut are laughing at the SEC all the way to the bank. Meanwhile, Sankey has very likely reaped some unknown benefits.

Don’t forget there was some support for 9 conference games in this site. It was a foolish move and Sankey fell for the trap set by the Big 10. He’s a damn fool.
