Per Winsipedia

All-Time Record: .601 vs .609
Conference Titles: 19 vs 21
C All Americans: 28 vs 25
Weeks in AP Poll: 424 vs 419
National Titles: 2 vs 2

A&M was the clear superior team a decade ago. This run with Dabo likely flipped the script.

A&M v Clemson (last 40)
Win %: 63.7 vs 70.2
Years Ranked: 17 vs 23
Med Rank: 13 vs 12
10+ win seasons: 8 vs 13
Titles: 0 vs 2

Clear edge to Clemson, but I wouldn't be too high and mighty towards A&M. The 7 year run you're on right now has turned you from very good to great. A&M might be embarking on something similar with Jimbo now.

Clemson people lose their shite over anything that has to do with Bama or Saban.

They act like auburn fans and talk about the family atmosphere and how much fun it is to be at Clemson vs Alabama. They say Alabama is too business like and just a football machine. Of course, when McElroy says it, they lose their shite.

Their radio station spent 6 hours on the nonsense the other day.

Well, All I can say is Texas A&M just had a little hot sauce added to the fun. Since they have FSU's national champion head coach and recent national champion Clemson will be visiting College Station to see how SEC teams teach us about X's and O's.

That doesn't make sense. Why would Clemson get mad at A&M for something somebody else said? I mean, if Fisher had said it, then I could see it, but some analyst?

A&M had nothing to do with what McElroy said.

If Clemson needs that for motivation, they're playing the wrong sport

fortunately, Clemson will be bringing their SEC raised coach, who has already come a long way in teaching Clemson how to be less like clemson.

What makes a team, a SEC team? The last 40 years of performance?

ALA king of all, case closed.
AUB solid history and been very good recently.
LSU strong history but not much lately.
UGA current East king..but historically speaking solid not outstanding.
TENN great history but...nothing this century.
FLA outside of Spurrier and Urban's time not much to brag about.

Historically, I wouldn't put Clemson above any in the top 6 in the SEC. Credit to Clemson for having a great run currently but historically, they have not done anything outside a few years in the 80's and currently the past 4 or 5 years.
