Hes doing the whole opting out thing,not because of covid, but because hes been listening to agents and looking at mock drafts . Put those two together with the love pff shows him,and you come out with ,opting out to train for the nfl draft.
The mocks have him going round 1 . He doesn't realize how much he needed to justify that . The things being said about him are based on potential,and if he can't show how that potential translates to play in the sec ,and with good talent around him ,then hes not a 1 or 2 round pick and he made a horrible decision.
None of these opt outs ,this late in the year, are from fear of covid. Covid is a cover for wanting to mail it in until you can get paid to play .
