And it's not close. Both have significant historical and economic importance, but the Tennessee is a beautiful scenic waterway with excellent fishing and recreation opportunities. The other is America's toilet.

That is the narrowest, but deepest point in the entire river. By day you can watch Bald Eagles fish the river. By night you can use whole 14" Shad for bait and catch 60-80 lb catfish. Deep sea rod and reel required.

Our part of the Mississippi gave birth to Mark Twain, so it's the Big Muddy for my vote.
