As much as it pains me, that game was insane.

I still say "Lightning in a bottle in Tuscaloosa!" when something crazy happens, even though the call was against my team.

The outcome still makes me sick but the 2012 Bama/LSU game was the greatest atmosphere I’ve ever been in and the most intense game I’ve ever seen.

And I was in the stands as a student for the 2007 LSU/Florida game

The Kick Six was an amazing game even before the ending. The ending cemented it.

The last game was pretty memorable. I wasn't thrilled with the outcome, but a back and forth slugfest between 2 SEC schools for the National Championship that was decided in OT has to be pretty close to the top. Kick 6 and the 2007 LSU-Florida game are up there too, both for the intensity and the ramifications.

How no one has mentioned the uga Tennessee game two years ago where basically two Hail Marys happened in the last minute. That was the craziest game I have seen in years

Yeah 2016 VOLS/Dawgs was one of the wildest games OAT. Plus it was a great, great game even before the dueling hail mary’s

Kick 6 was a great game, but the play is what was the greatest, not the entire game IMO

I think the play overshadows the rest of the game but like someone already pointed out it was already a classic before the most memorable play maybe in CFB history happened.

AU goes up, bama storms back and seems to be in control, AU scores on both sides of halftime to tie it up and set up the 4th quarter which is one of the craziest ever capped off with the GOAT play.

Dont get me wrong, that was a damn good game, but if Davis steps out of bounds, nobody even thinks of picking that game as "the" greatest

Seriously? So you think if #1 vs. #4 in the Iron Bowl goes to OT, then no one would think it was "the" greatest game?

I will say it was kind of a sloppy game, particularly with Bama's inability to kick a FG, but the back and forth was so dramatic...it was my pick for greatest game even before Bama was given an extra second.

People always remember this but dont remember the two very easy TD passes Auburn missed on. I mean wide open. I couldnt believe either of them

That was a true defensive struggle!

Only 1/3 as much of that boring scoring stuff as the 2011 LSU-Bama track meet.

AND 40% of the points were scored by defense!

1998 Arkansas-State game ranks up there as a classic.
State grabbed the early lead but then JJ Johnson went down with an injury and State's offense struggled the rest of the way.
Finally down 21-19 late, State converted a long 4th down to stay alive and then nailed a FG to win it 22-21 and win the SEC West.

Easily the kick 6. Its not even close.

While I'd rate that one above the "Game of the Century" the three below would be more of a close call:

1) 2017 National Championship Game (Bama vs UGA)

2) 2012 SECCG (Bama vs UGA)

3) 1992 SECCG (Bama vs UF)
