Grats to Alabama. Beat UGA twice. Obviously the better team. Good luck...

no doubt they are better than yall

you can thank your coach for failing to call a timeout on 2nd to last offensive possesion when you could tell they were lost, then calling one too late at end of game

No they don't, why would they? Their SOS and RPI is AWFUL. They have lost to some completely shitass teams. They play in the SEC west, where UGA went 6-2 (and both losses were to bama).

I think both teams are in. I think the SEC gets 6 bids. The top half of the SEC is as good any other league.

If John Jenkins plays we will win the tourny and get a 4 seed.

No. The top half of the SEC would have trouble with the middle of the pack ACC or Big East teams.

Have you watched the ACC this year they are not that good. The top half of the SEC has wins over the top of the Big East and competed well in the losses.

ND PItt Nova have loses to SEC teams and UGA took ND to 20T without there best player.

BigEast is overrated just like last year. Watch all the 1st rd exits by big east teams. At best they will have 3 teams make the sweet 16. Thats not that good if you get 11 bids.

so what about the other 2 1/2 months of the season? What about bama's blowout losses and losses to completely terrible teams? Do those get wiped out simply because of the last 7 days?

I would want no part of Notre Dame, Pitt, UNC, or Duke right now.

The middle of the Big East? Absolutely they're better than most of the SEC's great teams. The middle of the ACC? Seriously?? Have you paid attention to the season in their league? The ACC is down as much as its ever been as a league. Duke is BARELY better than Florida and UNC may be a small step ahead of the other SEC East teams but the rest of the SEC's good teams match up at least as well as the ACC #3 through #7.

It was a tough loss. You have a solid team, but dont be an ignorant dick. Look at the last 20 games and the SOS & RPI is much better. Also, this is a different team now compared to beginning of year. FR pg, Green suspended for 3 games (that Bama went 1-2 in), etc.

Of course you don't forget the other parts of the season, but it isn't like Bama has done squat outside of the last week. Alabama has won 16 of their last 20 games and 3 of their 4 losses have been extremely close road losses. Another thing people don't consider which does make a difference is that all of Alabama's non-conference games against major BCS conferences were ROAD games. Providence has been very competitive with the top Big East teams at their place as have Oklahoma State and Purdue. We had one terrible stretch in last November/early Dec but did that mostly without 2 of our best players playing. This Alabama team is much deeper/better from early December till now once we got these 2 players back in the regular rotation.

P.S. Personally, I think Georgia is safely in. It remains to be seen if Bama is but I like our chances a lot better right now as long as the other bubble teams do their part by losing.

I just haven't seen enough from most of the top half of the SEC to think they would easily manage through ACC or Big East teams.
