According to people on here, last week, the refs were out to get UGA, so your theory is bunk

That's terrific. The point is he isnt automatic like you tried to make it out to be in your original "hypothetical".

For the refs to actually be out to get anyone, they would first have to be competent enough to actually rig a game effectively.

Nobody is automatic from any distance. Whether it changes the game or not is irrelevant. Worst spot i have seen in a while. Dont see how that happens.

That's why it was a hypothetical.
And he's kicking at 86% the last 2 years. 91% at home (11/12) the last 2 years. It's a safe assumption in this hypothetical that he makes that field goal.

Do you know how to operate the search function?
I don't. Where's the damned search button? I have some long-standing feuds I want to settle this day.

Facts are facts. Sorry you don't like them.

I don't think they are out to get anybody, it's just that they seem to be incompetent alot of times.

Are you blaming this loss on the refs?
No. But it's not out of the realm of possibility that we get the ball with time to throw a couple passes and get in position to kick a game-tying field goal...especially considering how frickin horrible y'alls secondary is...

Oh, absolutely not. I agree completely. Anything can happen. But this is the second thread on this exact call this morning.

FWIW... MM was/is...
6 of 6 from 40-49 in '13
0 of 1 from 40-49 in '14

So give UGA the 15 yards from your personal foul that they called offsetting and you are net positive.

Cleary, that's proof the SEC offices need to be moved out of Birmingham.

UT benefited from offsetting Personal Foul. A clear fumble on Pig Howard who was fighting for yards.
Georgia benefited from a favorable spot and Todd Gurley.

I much prefer the idea of moving Birmingham out of Alabama.

There was a terrible spot toward the end of LSU's game too.
This is the 2nd easiest way to impact the game behind a well timed holding penalty.

UGA also benefitted from two clear missed calls on fair catches. McKenzie ran after calling for a fair catch which is a personal foul and Sutton was hit after calling for a fair catch on the ball that was down at the 1.

Wrong and Wrong.
Case 1 - He ran because the refs did not blow the whistle, which is what he is coached to do. And it was not a penalty because he stopped when the whistle was blown.
Case 2 - The Tennessee player was no where near in position to get to the ball. Just decoying, so no penalty.
Time to move on. When it comes to bad calls, you are picking on the wrong team. We have to overcome them in every game.
