A great read on the mindset of the Bama Fan this morning.

So what now…run Saban off?

If they need a home, there are a couple of Georgia boys who made a mistake last year that are probably welcome in Athens..

Run Saban off.

Get someone who’s not as good.

Never win again…

“But at least we won that national championship with the card board cutout fans. That environment was tough! We’re the goat!” (Alabama logic)

I haven’t heard or seen anyone saying to run Saban off. However, one thing that isn’t really debatable at this point is that Saban isn’t the same coach he was 10 or even 5 years ago. The picture is becoming much clearer that this isn’t the same football coach and program we Bama fans enjoyed for a decade. At this point I really think all us fans can do is hope Saban doesn’t hang on like Bowden did at FSU.

Nope. He has earned the right to leave when he wants to leave. We’ll just see if he makes any changes after this season to get Alabama back to the standard that he established.

This is mostly garbage.

If Bama has Blake Sims even at QB they win a close one and the conversation is completely different. With BY they win by 7-10 points.

But the QB play was completely non-functional so now the world is ending on the rant.

The only two things I’m actually worried about is whether we have someone to take the job from Milroe and why our pass rush disappeared.

But make no mistake, that’s a really good Texas team. OL and DL were elite, WR was elite and they did pretty well in the secondary. That was a playoff level team and Bama isn’t a playoff level team with Milroe running the offense.

I don’t read Al.com opinions.

Neither should you.

Especially that idiot of a reporter guy.

Never give them clicks.

Come on. Where is the “people say this every year” denial I’ve come to love?

Now that there are a dozen or so teams with the same payroll that the Turds have enjoyed for years, Alabama is just average like everyone else.

He played well.

Congrats to Sark. A good game overall. Lots of work ahead for Bama to get things back in the right direction

Win or lose, it was a fun day. I've missed cfb

doesn’t look like a Top 10 team or even one worthy of the Top 15. The quarterback looks unreliable and the secondary is reliably bad.

Wait, why did he switch gears to LSU mid-story?

The loss to LSU last year was the beginning of the end.

Name 5 better teams than Texas based on their play YTD.

Georgia? Maybe
Michigan? No
Ohio State? No
FSU? Maybe but I’d take Texas
Penn State? Lol
USC? No

Ha! Had BY last year and one by 1 on an end of game FG. Only reason last night was close was UT not capitalizing and refs letting Bama hold all the way down the field for a TD.

Well I haven’t seen Nussmeier play at a high level, have you? I’m not convinced Simpson or Buchner will play at a championship level either if that makes you feel better, but none of the guys for Bama were getting Heisman pub or huge Powerade billboards so the expectations were a bit different.

But if your point is that LSU is an elite QB away from being a top 5-10 team that’s entirely fair.

Bama is a good QB away from competing for championships and staring 9-3 in the face if Milroe is the guy.
