Thank you

Parrain’s, Mike Anderson’s in BR, Superior Grill, Elsie’s Plate and Pie, Simple Joe’s Cafe if it’s around breakfast or lunch, Overpass Merchant, Burgersmith, Louisiana Lagniappe…just to name a few.

Baton Rouge

1- I wish I could tell you Fleur de Lis pizza but these mfers are dragging their feet and haven’t opened back up yet.

2- Mansur’s on the boulevard and get the red fish and chargrilled oysters.

Superior Grill

Dude is coming from Houston. He don't need Baton Rouge Tex-Mex recommendations.

If you have a gluten free need, Jed's on Jefferson is really good.

The best sushi in town is at a new place on Sherwood Forest called Homakase. (Lane eats there.)

Elsie’s Plate and Pie

Good recommendation. And there's a great coffee shop down the street, French Truck. They make the coffee for Commander's Palace in Nola.

BLDG 5 is another tasty spot.

From Houston, you've got to stop at the Lake Charles Chick-Fil-A.

3435 Nelson Rd, Lake Charles

Try the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Waffle Potato Fries and a Lemonade. I'm not saying it is, but it may be the best food in Louisiana.

You would be better off going to Pat’s of Henderson in Lake Charles in lieu of Pat’s in Henderson.

Very easy to get to. Great food-atmosphere.

Doe’s Eat Place in Red Stick is pretty good.

If you like an overpriced Poboy with gravy on it and Lay’s chips (not even fricken fries)…then, by all means, go to Darrell’s.

I am not a fan, but if you want something unique, try DI’s …relatively easy to get to, north of I-10 between Jennings and Crowley.

What’s so great about this pizza? Honestly, the pizza sucks.

Superior Grill is overrated other than their margaritas. Just go to El Paso Mexican Restaurant.
