Miami at 16 is baffling. There’s also no way Alabama isn’t #1. Oklahoma at 1 is a joke. Also Texas (1 NC since 1970) and Penn State (2 total NCs in the 80s) are not top 10 programs.

Nebraska was walkon U for many decades. They are not getting nearly as many walkons as back in the day.

I don't know why it has changed but that stands out to me.

GOAT team has as many NC in last 41 years as the 12th and less than. The 11th, 14th, 15th,16th, 17th per this list. I know it’s all time but that is notable.

2. Bama
3. OU
4. Notre Dame
5. USC
6. Michigan
7. Nebraska
8. Texas
9. UF
10. LSU

It isn't the same perimeters. This poll uses the final AP rating AND number of Natties. This was more balanced.

Title of thread “according to AP poll”

Then a link that has correct ranking shown, has Aggies at 20 Hogs at 22. And as already mentioned this has been posted before.

Response, includes National championships. Hogs and Ags both have 1. Somehow Hogs jump Ags

Hmm, makes no sense but since it fits OP’s agenda, they are going with it.
